I read some great stories when I had my free month of Premium - enough to entice me to buy a subscription (once I get some bills paid off. ). It's a great way to support this wonderful site. -
Whew...that was one hell of a roller coaster! I didn't leave reviews because I was so drawn into the story. I have to admit to wanting to slap Sar myself several times...why on Earth he would want to let Valentine live after the third time threatening his mate is beyond me. At least Felix took care of him. Now we don't have to worry about that asshole anymore. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I hope you find the time and energy to finish the third book. I'd love to read more about these guys

I finished reading Damphir and am now working my way through the sequel. Thanks for featuring such a great story I highly recommend it to those who haven't read it yet. -
I can totally understand Felix and Glory's fear of talking to the scientists. I'm surprised Sar would even bring it up, knowing what they had just endured. I suppose maybe he doesn't know exactly what they went through, but still... how long were they in the research facility? I don't have a clear sense of the time frame involved. I'm relieved that Glory's other natures are still there. I wonder if the Council scientist will have any insight as to how to reach them again?

:o I seem to be using this emoticon a lot with this story! I think I would have preferred it if they went to a circus... I am not looking forward to what's coming next. I hope Sar and Rover get there before too much damage is done.

Well that was unexpected! I didn't think we'd see Valentine again! I wonder if he was in league with Felix's circus? I have to say that Felix and Glory remind me a bit of my two cats. Minus the sex part. lol My two will be grooming and loving on each other one moment, and then have a big smackdown the next. lol Gotta love the fickleness of cats. Ok...it's late but I have to read the next chapter!

Oh boy...gone and done it, indeed! There are so many parallels to what Glory went through when he was rescued by Sar. I actually don't think Glory is too much to blame for the sex...Felix knew exactly how to manipulate him and Glory didn't have any control over Cat. He shouldn't have told Felix about the bond with Rover, though. It's too soon. He should have let it develop naturally, but that's not very cat-like, is it? I'm wondering about Felix's 'friends' at the circus...did he have someone he was in love with, perhaps? Only one way to find out! Onward...

Glory is such a cat... So much for being Felix's friend...I sense there is going to be some serious petulance and jealousy on Glory's end. Rover's twitterpated. I'm guessing that he bonded or imprinted or whatever weres do when they find their mate. Glory needs to be happy for him and not so selfish. They are lifelong friends - soul brothers? and that is a very special thing. Rover deserves to be happy and not spending his life pining for something that he can't have.

Felix the Cat... I take it we've been introduced to Rover's eventual mate? (Don't answer that... I want to be 'surprised') lol I'm not surprised that Glory was able to relate to Felix, although I'm wondering why Cat is wary. It's the nature of cats to be wary, though, so hopefully it's nothing more than that.

Mrs. Oliver seems like a good person. I think that Jacob is much better off with her than his family. I had a feeling there would be something about the grandkids... it will be interesting to see Tiffany's reaction to having Jacob at dinner. I'm also glad that so many people are leaving Jacob's father's congregation. It seems that lately people associate Christianity with bigotry, and the truth is there are a lot of good Christians out there that are open and accepting. Great chapter. I look forward to what's next

First line prompts are usually the very first line, but if you're inspired to write something I say go for it. Not sure what you mean by D+7, but there really isn't any deadline for the prompts unless you want to be considered for being featured in the blog. In that case you would want to post before next Friday. I look forward to reading what you come up with.

Thanks, Defiance. It is scary to know that there are people like Hank out there. *shudder* At least Danny is safe now, although it will take him a long time to get past what happened. Hopefully Hank will be in a prison far away!

Glory's whole world has been turned upside down. I can totally understand how he feels. His life is being re-written. Not an outcast anymore...but a legend. The mythology of this piece is fascinating. I'd love to know more about damphir and aurix and the Council. I'm glad that Sar is finally communicating with Glory and appropriately, too! lol Sometimes it takes almost losing someone to know what you have.

GAH! No sleeping while you're flying, Glory! They're so close...yet so far. Pixie seems to have redeemed himself. At least now he knows the truth about Valentine.

I knew I should have given Valentine that Holy Water bath with lots of stakes. I hope he gets/has gotten his appropriate punishment. I guess I'll find out. Poor Glory. I wonder how long he was in the Circus? At least he recognizes the bond he shares with Sar and that he is there to save him, despite having hurt him before. I'm relieved that he's safe now. On to the next chapter.

Glory and Sar just can't seem to get in synch. I can totally understand both sides of what happened. I find it hard to believe that Sar didn't know about the aripa caz, though. I don't think he meant to hurt Glory, but misinterpreted his reactions. He just did a lot of damage he'll need to undo. Good thing that Rover is there to pick up the pieces. Sar really needs to get his head out of his ass and start communicating with Glory before he does irreparable damage. I'm glad to hear that there is a sequel. I'll have lots of reading to do this weekend!

Sartorian needs a wake up call and fast. Hopefully he'll listen to Fougue and take a long hard look at his actions. He may love Glory, but he has a funny way of showing it. Who's acting like the brat here? I'm loving this story so far.
