It was the second time around with this story for me, and it was just as beautiful as the first. Grant, Troy, and the gang are great characters, and the story itself warms the heart. Great job, and can't wait to see what you have for us next!

I have NO sympathy for Hank. If I had accused somebody of something and found out I was wrong, especially an accusation as big as cheating, THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO is call that person and beg for their forgiveness. When someone tells you that you're wrong, what is there to admit to yourself?? You're wrong, you apologize. As much as Hank supposedly loved Chase, he can't even fucking apologize????? I just don't get how people are hoping that Chase goes back to this asshat! Oh, and HANK is making plans for what to do with CHASE'S mother's ring?? WTF????? -
Well, I wasn't expecting to find respect for Jake's dad, but here we are! Lol! I would have never expected him to be so accepting about Jake being gay. My respect of his mother, however, is going downhill fast. I agree that she's just a vindictive bitch. I feel bad that Jake has to deal with her on a daily basis, and I agree that she's the one that's not gonna take it well when she finds out that Jake's gay. I loved the interaction between Jake and Brett, Billy and Dustin! It was great to see the gang back together just having no drama fun! Brett gave Jake some good advice, although easier said than done.

Yeah, I can totally see why Jake's mom divorced his dad! What an asshole! That boat ride had absolutely nothing to do with Jake or his birthday. I'm sure the card and cake were last minute to make him look like less of a douche, which is pretty impossible. I wouldn't want to spend weekends with him. He doesn't give two shits about his own son. That's sad.

What a difference a chapter can make. Could Danny have been more of a d-bag?? I can't believe he's been ignoring Jake since getting together with Kayla, then as soon as she dumps him he wonders what Jake is doing the following weekend! I'd tell Danny to go fuck himself if I were Jake! Who wants to be friends only when its convenient??

If he truly knew Chase well enough to propose to him, he would know that Chase is not a liar. The way he found Chase in chapter one should have told him that Chase was telling the truth. Hank is scum.

Too little, too late as far as Hank is concerned. If a partner ever treated me as horrible as Hank treated Chase over something that he made up in his mind, then went and hooked up with a mutual friend, I would want to rip his effin throat out!! No way in hell would I have any other feelings other than hate and disgust for him!

Oh boy, another trip to Mon Valley!! I already love Jake and Danny! Can't want to see what u have in store for them. Also, I'm hoping our favorite teacher/maybe turned principal met his demise somewhere in the past 10 years. Got hit by a bus in the crosswalk? Teachers got together and poisoned his food? His brake lines got cut? The possibilities are endless, and every one of them makes me smile because the bastard deserves any one of them! Lol!! Great first chapter!

That was a great chapter!! I'm so glad Brent and Dawson worked out, and Perry went slithering away! Even though Dawson brings up Chase and Hank, their situations couldn't be more different. Neither Brent or Dawson treated each other like shit, and neither went and cheated with a mutual friend. They were never in a "relationship" other than friendship. Brent and Dawson deserved a chance. Chase deserves MUCH better than what he had.

I was hoping Chase would get to talk to Carter when Dawson handed his car over to him to sell. I don't feel one bit bad for dumbass Hank! He deserves to be miserable. He fucked up way worse than Chase did as far as I'm concerned. He doesn't deserve Chase, and Chase deserves WAY better!! -
I hope Chase doesn't see this as hope to getting back with Hank. Chase needs someone who loves him unconditionally and never doubts his love in return. Only thing Hank has proven is how emotionally abusive he can be, and how he can throw a relationship away over a kiss. Not my idea of "the one"

As much as Dawson wants to be there for Brent, not sure that I agree with his decision. I don't think I could uproot my whole life for someone that told me not to. They never even talked about where they were as far as relationship, friendship or other. In fact, sounds like not much was said at all considering all of the info Dawson had didn't even come from Brent. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if Dawson came back. In other news...Carter is available!!

Love the chapter, and that u didn't change how it was written. I agree Troy stomping off would have been too out of character for him. I really don't think that would be the right reaction in this situation period. Troy has too big of a heart to react like that, and Grant didn't keep the journal away from him for any bad reasons. The fact that he not only kept the journal, but returned it to him with John's note still in the back shows how much Grant cares for him.

Hank deserved every bit of what Chase gave him, and more!! That asshole should be ashamed to be sitting with Chase's father after the way he treated him! Does Charles know the extent of how Chase was treated? He has a lot of nerve inviting him over too! If I were Chase, during that walk I'd be looking for another place to live. That ring seemed to me like Charles was guilting Chase into trying again with Hank, which is kind of a shit move if u ask me! I agree with Chase to give the ring to Cindy! Also, Charles needs to take out the trash...I mean ask Hank to leave. I would have been beyond angry if I were Chase to be ambushed by Charles and Hank!

Good chapter! Maybe Hank is just bummed because he caught something from his little tryst with Kevin and has to be on antibiotics for the next couple weeks! All kidding aside, I think if Chase told Charles exactly how Hank had treated him and the things he said to him, Charles wouldn't be telling him to keep trying. Seriously, I wouldn't waste my pee on Hank if he were on fire! I sure as hell wouldn't forgive him and get back together with him! I like Charles, but he's dead wrong on this one.

Great chapter! I had forgotten about Grant's mother. Definitely a piece of work! Lol! I think there needs to be another round of Truth Or Dare for Brian and Aaron's sake. Sounds like they may have some unfinished business

I'm so proud of Alex! I'm glad that he realized that he needed help and went to a counselor. He has matured so much since the first chapter! It also really helps that he has his parents and Jeremy to support him. A nice, happy chapter to come back with!

Yes, he really is that bad! If by that night he didn't know Chase isn't the cheating type, then he really never knew Chase at all. Knowing Chase's mental state, instead of being heartbroken he should have wanted to find out what's really going on with him. Instead, all he's done is try to stomp him down more. If Chase hadn't been getting help, I'm afraid to think of what Hank's treatment of him would have done to him, or what it would have made him do to himself.
