I am not surprised to find out Opie is a dragon. You left a few hints along the way. I am glad it is confirmed. Opie really likes Jonas. I hope he will help Jonas get his life turned around. Thanks.

You gotta love that Jonas! And his new boss is totally intriguing! In spite of seeming confused, Jonas has managed to not show it and roll with the punches - mostly. He may not admit it, but he is lucky to have Jenny for a friend. I am looking forward to his first day of work and his blind date! Thanks.

It's only the third chapter, but this story has already gone from "like" to "love" for me! Jonas is a terrific character, and I can't wait to see what adventures he has when his new job starts! Thanks.

This was a very sweet story, in spite of the little dark spot. Sadly these dark spots are a part of real life. I loved the couple and their flirty dialogue, and of course Henry, the superhero disguised as a restaurant owner! And there are sometimes amazing moments like the one provided by the older gentleman at the end! My take on rainbow waffles: I tried a few times to make them with my granddaughter. It's hard to swirl in the food coloring enough to make it rainbow-ish, but not so much it makes a greenish brown. Better to go for one color. Kylie's favorites were pink and purple! Thanks, Tim! I enjoyed this. 💖

What an interesting first chapter! I like both Ethan and Wayne. You have given us several possibilities for how this story will go. I can't wait to read more! Thanks.

Thank you for sharing Ed's story! A lot of it was sad, but it ended well. The hints in the post script sound quite promising! I really loved Ed! He was a great character, and your writing really captured his unique thoughts and personality!

I loved the end of this chapter where Mr. Rusello was asked to sign the painting in the cafeteria. When he went back to check Adam saw not just Mr. Rusello's signature but Abel's also. What a great way to encourage this boy to pursue his interest in art! Thanks.

Poor Ed. He can't seem to catch a break. No pun intended. I do think he is lucky to be with Uncle Ted. I hope things get better for him. Ed is a really unique character, and I like him a lot! Thanks.

Hey Wayne! I was thinking about some of the stories that I especially enjoyed here on GA. And for no good reason I decided to reread some. Of course your stories are terrific, and I really loved Troy and Grant! I just finished reading their story, and let me say I enjoyed as much the second time as I did the first time! Your writing is always great! Thanks.

Brandon is a great character! I enjoyed his time down under and his growth as a person and shifter! The firefighting scenes were frightening, but also interesting and informative. It was great fun to run into the guys from Parker Valley Wolf Pack! It was also fun to stop by Liston Winery and touch base with Spencer! I am a big fan of CJ and Carlos! You did a good job wrapping things up still leaving room for future stories. Good writing, characters, dialogue, and travel tips made this a most enjoyable story! Thanks.

It is always a pleasure to stop by Camp Refuge! This is a great short, and it makes me happy to see loving parents that want their child to be good regardless of their sexuality. Thanks.

It is great seeing how much Cyn has grown in confidence, and how he and Seamus keep growing closer as a couple! Thanks.

I enjoy the way Adam continues to change and improve things in a very low key way! I believe you said in an earlier comment you are not an educator. I am amazed at your insights and ideas for making the school better. I am retired from teaching, but I agree with what Adam (and you) propose. Thanks.

Thanks Tim for this wonderful story! How you managed to cram so much information into a short story is amazing! Like several others who responded, I have farming in my family's background. My dad wanted to escape the farm, and became a city boy. I have a ton of fond memories of spending time with my grandparents on their farm when I was a kid. Besides that, you created a couple of terrific characters! Their dialogue was spot on, and I have a soft spot in my heart for a gentle giant like Jake. All in all a most enjoyable story! Thanks.

What a pleasant surprise to come across this story while I was looking for another one. The brief description intrigued me, so I bookmarked it and came back to read it. Everything was great! The plot, characters, dialogue, and the surprise of finding out Brad is a shifter too, all made this a most enjoyable story! I have to echo the other comments and say I would enjoy reading more about all these characters, but I want to add that this was very satisfying as is. Thanks.

In spite of a rather horrible beginning, I am glad I stayed with this story until the end! Dale and Hunter are terrific characters! I look forward to reading your next story. Thanks.

It is a beautiful day here: sunny, warm, and a bit of a breeze. It was a perfect day to sit on the deck and reread this story. As always, your writing is amazing! Characters, dialogue, and descriptions all blend with the plot to make a most enjoyable reading experience! I hope life is treating you well. Thank you.

This story has interesting characters and a good plot, but like Rob I can't go for the physical violence. He moderated his stance a little when he and Artem got back together. They has so much going for each other it is too bad Artem ended up cheating again. A sad ending to a well written story. Thanks.

Like Lonerwolf_94 I was concerned that Mark was planning to kidnap Kayden. Even though it hasn't happened yet, your closing sentence has me worried a bit. Ian is laughing, and Kayden doesn't think to look back over his shoulder. Hmmm. Cause for concern or misreading from paranoia? By the way, I am really happy for Kayden and all the changes going on. Thanks.
-
Well it was only a matter of time. I feel badly for Kayden, but Trent is right; Mark is an asshole! I hope the rest of the family will support Kayden. I wonder if he will start to enjoy living at Trent's? I can't wait for the grandparents arrive! More excitement to come! Thanks.

I am a native Washingtonian, and I grew up in Everett (north of Seattle). This chapter was fun because I recognized the places on their trip. I am curious about Uncle Ted. He seems unflappable, and maybe he will be good for Ed. Thanks.

I am behind and reading to catch up. I haven't commented in a while, so I wanted to say how much I am enjoying this story! It just keeps getting better! I hope before it's over, Ethan and Evan have a chance to reconnect. Thanks.

Adam is a terrific character! I enjoy his interesting ideas about students and learning! From the sounds of it you must be, or have been, an educator. Adam is lucky he is a character in this story! In a real life setting, it can be difficult to do what is best for the student and still stay within the framework of the school district's curriculum and expectations. I am still really enjoying this story! Thanks.
-
I continue to enjoy Adam and his story! Your characters are very likeable, and their relationships are wonderful! A very heartwarming story. Thanks.

This seems like a set back for Eddie, but maybe it is just more of the same. I hope Dr. Kaiser will be able to sort things out. I am hopeful life will be better for Eddie by the end of the story. Thanks.
