Winkler and Granger is one of the relationships that has has grown slowly and naturally over the years. It reminds me of the aristocratic officer surviving WW I with the help of his batman who returns with his master and becomes a constant (see Downtown Abbey for a good example).
Another, truly enjoyable chapter. Each one is maintaining the story-telling at the highest level. A true labour of love. Thank you.
Can’t wait, but I have to say the secret author anthology took me way out of my comfort zone overall, something you darn authors love doing to the likes of me. Role on 10.10. 🤗
Great emotions, great characters, cruel plotting…… ms Laura is now in danger of being sent to @kbois’s korner……. We need happiness, Laura, pleeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeeee
Great character development. Travis seems more and more “real” to me. If only I had had the money and/or the nerve to enter the shops in the Via Condotti in the 80s…… Gap Year gets ever more enjoyable. Thanks Mark 🤗
Your commitment to our pleasure is duly noted…. And really appreciated. As a weiner dog owner I know how stressed they can get if mealtimes, or in this case chps, are delayed.
this was a really lovely read after a 13-hour day. Thank you mrsG and kbois. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Well, well, well… I’m not sure where there is the most drama, the comments section or the actual, really great, story.
As others have said, the serialisation allows readers to really feel involved in the story.
A v moving chp, ms Laura. Wel done!
As an avid reader, I just love Will’s episodes of rage but felt that here there was a huge difference between today and the chainsaw massacre of Gucci shoes etc. He is raging mad but removes himself to process. Travis has a long way to go………
I suspect that when we see the whole story revealed this chapter will stand out as a key turning point. The last chp was just so sad and our heroes seemed doomed to be trapped with no way forward but then came this amazing intervention. A beautifully-written and thought-provoking piece of writing. Thank you ☺️
This one hasn’t captured me like the amazing other stories so I’m going to wait and read the finished product, no criticism, Laura, it’s just me. Your work is really good. Gary. Xx
A real pleasure to get the latest installment as you cross the 1,000,000 word count. A truly great writing achievement, Dodger. The story is still as fresh as ever and leaves us begging for more.
THANK YOU,
