Chapter 27 - Refugees
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 27 - Refugees
What a delightful trio, hope they are successful and the fishing it good. But also hope they are able to keep the rubble cleaned up and people start to come back to the area. Good that they met some nice people for a change. -
Chapter 26 - The Giant
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 26 - The Giant
And away we go; but why the disguise? Are we hiding from the Organization? Totally badass move in getting rid of the giant cannibal. -
Another Psycho Visit and Finally a Breakthrough
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Another Psycho Visit and Finally a Breakthrough
They are right; there is one in every group that turns into an asshole; if not about a gay couple, it would be something else. They just have to think they are right at it all. I am glad that Derek was able to help reach out to his young patient. His supervisor is right; he has a natural way about him. Schools are not always accommodating about switching out schedules over personal issues, even in conservative areas; there can just be too much disruption and set a precedent that is hard to walk back from. Thought the therapist handled the situation very appropriately. But therapy will need to be ongoing for a while, maybe a great while. Smart to reach out to the school as well. -
I do think that Russ is genuine in wanting to be friends; and yes, friends with benefits. I think that to some extent, Russ is lonely for actual friendships and Brian and Gordon are friends that truly don't want anything else from him; that has to be somewhat unusual in his position, he said as much. I also think that Russ is coming to understand that for Brian and by extension Gordon, Toby comes first. Do like how well Toby is adjusting to some of the changes as well. I hope the Wednesday meeting doesn't turn into a clusterf#%k but I do think that it may. Well done.

Westerns are a particularly hard genre to write for in my opinion. The best writers are those that can handle the descriptive nature of the genre. You have to be able to paint a picture with your words of the world that you are creating.

Chapter 25 - The Children
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 25 - The Children
We can hope that a medical ship that is tied to several groups will be a safe haven for the children; if nothing else, they can at least make others aware of what they were going through. Destroying the shuttle was the only logical choice. But now we need to find a way to get back to tracking the Ulaa-Lah. The Captain needs his command back. -
Chapter 24 - Search and Rescue
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 24 - Search and Rescue
So glad they were able to get the kids free; but with the mainframe destroyed; they may never know the location of the ship. These three a a killing machine; but have no sympathy for anyone involved in hurting children, even if they were not directly involved, they had to know what was happening. -

A truly wonderful story, worthy of all the praise it can get. Hope some take the opportunity to check it out. -
Chapter 20 No Guarantees
centexhairysub commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 20 No Guarantees
Such descriptive and poetic writing in this chapter. I teared up reading about the mare and the foal being killed; but such is life in the wild. Mares like being alone when they give birth; but it does leave them vulnerable to predators looking for an easy target. Jubal needed to find some sight of the wild horses and he did; even helped them by killing two of the wolves. The wolves likely won't be scared off by the death of two of the pack; but they will be more cautious. Jubal needs to make some decisions of his own before have a real heart to heart with Lucas. That said, he needs to give Lucas a chance to make his own decision as well, but that can only happen after Jubal comes to know himself. Wonderful chapter, just wonderful.- 53 comments

I love penguins and am so glad they were able to heal the one that was injured. Michael seems like a really great guy. Hope he continues to grow in truth and honesty. Excellent chapter.

Chapter 23 - Back on the Ulaa-Lah
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 23 - Back on the Ulaa-Lah
Ah so more of a lying scheme than an actual mutiny. Penqui has to have known he did not have enough support. Well, they saved the Captain but lost the ship they needed to save the kids. What is going to happen now.... -
Chapter 22 - The Dark Base
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 22 - The Dark Base
It takes a special kind of evil to experiment on children. I hope they destroy everyone associated with this Organization. -
Truly a battle for the ages; Huntington's arrogance was his undoing in the end. He simply did not believe that he could lose; but threatening to expose the humans to this was his final act of stupidity. And the idea that he was just left to rot and be food for the animals was especially fitting. Caleb and Asa survived and so did most of the others; Asa did the right thing saving Reilly. Losing him would have truly devastated Sebastian. I am glad those in Texas did not suffer any serious damage; I just knew that Huntington would go after them in some way. Kage, even in death, protected Elijah and those that he cared about most. Kage may not have been pure; but his love for Elijah was. Truly epic.

Chapter 21 - War
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 21 - War
It is always the innocents that suffer. Well, I knew there was a reason behind the idiot councilor on the ship going all rogue. Spread the news quickly; make it public and bring everyone in... -
Chapter 20 - Three Years Earlier
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 20 - Three Years Earlier
Well, as with most wars that are not for religious purposes; it comes down to greed. And oh boy, if you can combine religion and money watch out. -
Well, as far as wedding proposals go; that one sucked. LOL I do think that Deidre is going to cause issues; but I think Jasper will as well, because I think part of his attraction to Deidre is her having some money. If she gives up custody of Toby, that will end, at least some of the extra. I do love both sets of parents. Ralph's reaction surprised me.

Well, hell, there are four suspects in the house when they found out. Plus, Big, Taylor, Zach, JP, Stef, and how many more? No way was this a suicide, Curtis Buck was too egomaniacal for that. I hate that Zach came over and made Will feel sort of sorry for him. I don't, I hope he killed Curtis and gets caught and sent up to the big house. But no, really don't think it was Zach, it should be but no. This new housekeeper has got to go.

Doctor Wayne and Jeremy's Distress
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Doctor Wayne and Jeremy's Distress
Truly hate that Adam is having to go through this; but counseling is the best way for him to learn to deal with it. The trigger could be almost anything. Unfortunately, sexual abuse is always one of the first things most therapist will look at on something like this; even with the trauma Adam has suffered from recently. Can't wait to see what happens next. -
OMG, I just have no idea... I am horrible at guessing games.

Chapter 19 - The Periwinkle Pickle
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 19 - The Periwinkle Pickle
I bet that was what the overthrow on the ship was about all along. The idiots needed it to help fight, and used what happened as a quicker way of getting it. -
Chapter 18 - The City
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 18 - The City
Okay, some of these names... I am glad they did decide to get the engine checked and make sure it is completely fixed. When they get the Captain, if they can't get rid of the idiots at the same time, I won't know issues getting away. -

Chapter 16 - Attack
centexhairysub commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 16 - Attack
Well, space is cold; and there is a saying about something serviced cold. Fonith is on cold efficient witch, or something to that variety. -
We realistically know that some of those we have grown to care about, will not survive the coming battle. The thought of any of those that we have come to know and care for not being around for their loved ones is devastating. But we know that each of them would give their all, and some will, to stop a madman like Huntington. He has brought so much destruction and mayhem that he simply must be eliminated not just stopped. His plans and creatures must never be allowed to survive. Asa's plan was a good one. Huntington seems to have a total hard-on for Caleb, and hurting Vann getting to Caleb seems to be something that would totally appeal to him. I do hope those in Texas are truly safe. So glad that Vann has meshed so well with the boys in Texas. We can all hope this is a good sign of things to come. I don't think that Caleb will ever fully forgive himself until the issues with Vann are resolved. This waiting is killing me.
