Reid and Lucas appear to have some history; wonder if the Sheriff is wishing it wasn't history. Lucas seems to perhaps have moved on; but was that his choice or Reid's? Jubal and Lucas have such an easy camaraderie that it is hard to remember that they just meet a few days ago. Not always the smartest thing to get that attached to someone that quickly, especially back then, but sometimes shit just happens. Looks like Jubal would be able to find plenty of work, if he wanted something else to do; and land would be cheaper here; we never really found out why he was heading to Larkspur did we... As always, the visualizations created by the writing are outstanding.

You know, Brad can go Mafia Don scary at the drop of a hat. The only one that does it better is JP. I know Stef is the steely business mogul, but he just doesn't have that truly scary edge that JP and Brad have. Will any of the younger generation truly have it? I guess I could see Darius, Will, or Claire going full Mafia Don scary, but will they ever measure up to JP and Brad; I truly don't think so. I know that Travis was upset; but he really played that all wrong. That said, Will should have really already had the conversation with Travis that they were trying to acquire Buck Industries; it isn't like Travis was in any position to spike the deal. The notes at the end were just too precious. I really love Charles and Elise; wish we had seen more of them, so to speak. So glad that Stef is arriving, he will certainly shake things up a little bit. Bravo, Mr. Arbour, truly outstanding.

Things are moving at a rapid pace; and yet, Scott still has not given his explanation. All of these plans could blow up, of course, if they did, we would not have a story, but still. Scott needs to have a discussion sooner rather than later. Greg already understands something that some in business never do; first impressions matter. That said, there is a danger in working with family and friends both; let's hope both work out okay. Excellent chapter, flowed really well. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Character development is great, you quickly care about most and learn to hate those that are evil. Writing is good, flow to the story is generally good; but some chapters are super short and some of the violence is truly gag worthy. If you like stories with unique and varied characters with highs and lows; then this might be the series for you. Posting is generally quick, but some chapters are very short. Some of the violence is extreme; if you have a sensitive stomach, you might think twice. I do recommend this series as it is different and has always kept me interested, but you must read the books in order; will not make sense otherwise.

Well, you know good accountants are damn hard to find. LOL. I do sort of feel that the emancipated minor issue might come into play with others areas as well. And of course, and LLC is the way to go. Have to protect what assets he already has or will have access to. Excellent chapter, and flowed really well. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Jubal and Lucas have made a grand start. And gotten more than I could imagine done in just that one day. They are already finding reasons to touch each other and to open up in ways neither of them are sure about yet. I think some of that is because they instinctually feel that the other is open to it. @84Mags is right, calming seems to fit on so many levels. Excellent chapter, can't wait to see what happens next.

Okay, these three need to die truly horrible excruciating deaths and soon.

I am so happy... It took the gifts of several of them to do so; but Pelipi has been rescued, and he did not even know he was lost...

Pelipi is alive, I am so happy. What a wonderful thing Auntie Peg and Dottie have done. It will be a blessing to all. That said, I see issues with so many youth in one area with evil afoot.

Once again, the Messiahs prove to be as monstrous as anything else. The death of those that are young and had no chance at life is terrible.

Ilya was not to blame; but until she comes to that realization, nothing anyone says will matter. I wish she could have concentrated on the good she has done and those she has helped. Sad....

Black can be very restful and peaceful. I just love the joy the children bring to each other and all of those around them. They have all had tragedy in their lives but haven't let it keep them down. I am still saying a space for the kids that need a place to stay and help with medical issues.

So happy that Lahari is back... Auntie Peg and Dottie and all the rest really are family. And family does what it has to.

Oh, what a idea, they just don't exist anymore. Have to think that would be a scary thing to contemplate, even if you did not like where you were, to not exist well....

Oh, what a sweet chapter. Although, Charlie did jump to some conclusions without proper evidence. A good suit will last years or decades if your body doesn't change to much, you pay for it, but it is truly worth the cost. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Well, let's hope that the JP, Stef, and company have more pull than Curtis Buck. Like @PrivateTim said, I don't the a European country would actually arrest someone on a warrant that was not federal in nature, but can't really remember if it was different back then or not. And agree that the the Crampton/Schluter lawyers would delay delay delay. Offense might be the best defense. Attack Curtis at his weakest point, what is Brad doing, did he get the company? Have to say that I love how Will and Travis interact. Will needs to just rip the band aid off and tell Travis how upset he is. They need to communicate what they are leaving unsaid. I do love how relaxed the Europeans are in general about nudity. They always have been more relaxed than we are; and we could definitely learn a lot from them. Remove the idea of shame about the nude human body. Can't wait to see what happens next...

I am still thinking of something to do with housing and caring for the children, especially those that are shift that have been abandoned or lost their parents. Plus maybe a nursing/medical area. Can Jzuna and Thech reach Lahari? Is there a shot that Pelipi is there? I am still upset that he was just lost in the shipwreck; and there was never any attempt to really try and find him.

Ugh, I may be ill. This trio needs to be destroyed now...

Kosephaji may have glimpsed his future. Duna is better than he was to start the day. Olona may have found an apprentice. But the evil that is the Gunge is getting closer.

Many "hands" make light work. I can truly see this coming together. Each used their own ability to help in their own way.

So many questions, we need some answers. A man with more problems than one can imagine; but what is causing the problems?

A truly wonderful chapter, Granger just always has the right touch. I am glad that he was able to allow the Catholic tenants to stay, but to have a dinner and then to arrange that the young boy that drew the picture to stay with him, well just perfect. Williams is going to be every bit the man his father is; and aren't we all lucky for that. Another black mark for Caroline, sending Williams away because she could not stand up to a child is ridiculous. Plus, not being able to carry on without being that obvious, really. Granger and Winkler are just perfect together. And isn't Granger generous, arranging a playmate for Cavendish. LOL. What a respite this chapter was, can't wait to see what is next.

I am really sad about Pelipi, just think it is horrible that he is gone like that. I think in some ways, this is the worse death in the series because it was just so totally senseless.
