I can only add my best wishes while wondering why you have to move there..... -

Reading is my passion and writing is something I do for me and when I think it is good enough, I share. So while I have no set schedule to write, I do so when the mood strikes or when I have an idea I want to get down....it might lead to more and it might not. I don't have any illusions that my writing is so compelling that anyone is bereft when I don't post something. Of course being retired and no longer having to work to survive is a blessing. I applaud everyone who juggles a career, home, children and the ordinary tasks of daily life and still finds time to engage in the hard task of putting words on the page.

Call me old fashioned but heavy french kissing in public is a bit too far whether the couple is of mixed or same sex, especially where food is being eaten. Just my opinion. A warm embrace or even a fairly passionate kiss without public display of tongue is OK as far as I am concerned, but once it crosses over into public display of shared tongue action it is too much.

I didn't get mine. I checked my junk mail folder and deleted folder too. I went to last weeks and attempted to re-subscribe but got an error message saying I was already subscribed....hmmm. And yes I went into Outlook and checked the box for newsletters to show up and it still hasn't...

Good start. I'm almost impressed.

The problem with some prologues, is that if they don't grab my attention, I may stop reading and never even start the story.....

Chapter 10 Time to cool off.. Maybe
Daddydavek commented on FSELL's story chapter in Chapter 10 Time to cool off.. Maybe
Still thinking about Sam, but plenty distracted....especially by Josh. The daily video as a sort of diary for the upcoming road trip is an awesome idea! Thanks for sharing! -
You know I enjoy the travelogue aspect of your stories and especially when they end hot and sexy. Thanks for sharing!

The mission just got more complicated by the delay of having to escort the merchant ships. Weather conditions will be a factor. I see a long cold winter ahead.

The Sunday punch was a great success, but I noted the toaster reset too... Thanks for this latest chapter. Now I'm wondering what they face next!

These two stories are some of the best short stories on the site and definitely belong together. Thanks for bringing them to the attention of some new readers!- 7 comments

TC2 - Chapter 7: Retribution
Daddydavek commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 7: Retribution
Despite all the "bumps in the road" things turned out well in the end and I think both Adam and Rob can count that a success. As far as Duncan and Giles, Duncan seems like a sure bet and getting to know Giles will be Rob's best chance at exploring a relationship. Could be another book?? Well done and while this genre may be new to you, you handle it well! -
Bye For Now & Weekly Wrap Up (May 27 - Jun 2)
Daddydavek commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Best of luck and best wishes for Renee, the hubby and the soon due bundle of joy. My advice is to get plenty of rest or least as much as you can before the baby gets here, because you may not get much for the next couple of months! -
It is a good thing people have a sense of humor, otherwise stupidity would just be cringe worthy..... I agree that this guy's FBI career should be toast. He should also lose his license to carry as a public safety hazard.

Bringing balance to your life is a process, and is a sign of your growing maturity. Good luck on your journey and it's OK to enjoy the ride, but not to get totally stupid... too often. As far as buckling down and really working toward something, that may be necessary at times, but it need not define you. And the rewards can be good.

Running for the Neighborhood Advisory Commission is an interesting entry into low level politics. However, I think they want him not just for his ideas and youthful appeal, but also for his contacts for help in advocating. CJ being a kid with Carson threatening to describe the taste of cum to get Carson to shut up about oral ministrations made me laugh. The exposure to bigotry seems to be more common in the current time period. Colonel Edwards's mentioning that his wife would be upset if the whole squad wasn't there for the wedding confirmed to CJ that the Colonel would see to it that his red head friend got his leave. Well done. More please. Why is it that the weeks go by so fast, but paradoxically the time between chapters seems to drag?

Chapter 9 - Come Fly with me
Daddydavek commented on FSELL's story chapter in Chapter 9 - Come Fly with me
Loved the chapter, but still feel Jamie is going to keep missing Sam and it may become a bit much...despite the distractions. More please! -
What a pleasant surprise! It seems that Granger has effectively taken out the two Russian ships. Hopefully someone on either of those ships can provide some information that is helpful to Daventry's and Granger's mission.... More please!

"Sweet Jesus, could he kiss. I’ve been kissed by a lot of men, a few women, a couple horses, and the odd dog, but he was in a class by himself. Slow, deep, sincere. He kissed like he meant it. I’ve met people who hug that way." My favorite line of the story so far!

I came across this article discussing how several states are starting to provide digital driver's licenses and found it interesting enough to pass along. I was struck about the point that many drivers will keep going if they forget their license but will turn around and go back for their phones..... Thanks for sharing. Now I have to put another place on my bucket list, Florida Southern's Frank Lloyd Wright stuff.
