    Chapter 42

I call it a cliffhanger! The 7th paragraph begins talking about Daniel coming out to his department....and 58 paragraphs later we get nothing!

    Chapter 16

Somehow I think Klaus will give Jake what he deserves and that might involve an exquisitely painful prologue to the most intense orgasm that they ever share....That's my hope and I'm sticking to it.
  3. @MJ85 I haven't heard this in ages! Thanks!
  4. Well I'm all caught up and I have to say, Jimmy is a sweet manipulative guy in the best sense of the term. I think he knows what he wants and realizes the spark between them has real potential and is working his best to get past any objections that Drake may have and I wish him every success. Drake definitely needs someone like Jimmy in his life. That they both slept so well together tells me that they are comfortable in their skins at holding and being held. Now it's just a matter of how long our dear author decides to drag the suspense out. As far as the stuck-up snobby, self-righteous bigot, his day is coming. I noticed he tensed up when Jimmy questioned how many women he'd slept with and I'd not be surprised to learn he is currently having an affair....sometimes the apple really doesn't fall to far from the tree....
  5. That he defeated all odds and survived so long with motor neuron disease (ALS) was an ongoing miracle. Despite that, he was able to do research and publish at such an exceptional level is astounding when he had to devote so much time and energy to just survive...

    Health Crisis

  7. When significant wealth is involved a pre-nup is just being responsible. Ask any family court attorney. The fact that the parental units got together and discussed it without involving CJ and Ozzie is what infuriated them. Brett is right, they raised CJ to be independent and make good decisions and they need to trust him on this. Now I have to wait another week.

    Chapter 41

One of my favorite chapters because it showed both Paul and Daniel 's character. Good job. Now More Please!

    Chapter 11

Cavendish 's resistance is breached . At least one can hope there were no interruptions...

    Chapter 58

Drug wars arrive at Goodwell and the G-men arrive just in time.... More please!
  11. Why I can cope with normal: In our day-to-day mundane lives, normal means getting through the things we have to do so we can have the time to do the things we want to do. It's how we manage to work 9 to 5 for almost 40 years so we can afford to retire and be comfortable. It's how we manage to get through a normal day at work hoping nothing too exciting happens otherwise we may have to stay late and miss dinner out with friends. Human beings don't want to be boring, but they want efficient routines so they can get the boring necessities done and still have time for a bit of fun or just goofing off. Unfortunately, we do not live in boring times and that reminds me of that old curse about living in interesting times.

    Latter Days

I streamed it on Amazon Prime some time ago. Not in the league with Brokeback Mountain, but pretty good for the genre.
  13. He first appeared in Season 6 of MASH starting in fall 1977 or more than 40 years ago. I remember it well. He was so stuffy and prim.
  14. I'm still hoping for them to take that trip to the Canary Islands, Spain and ending up in Paris sometime in the not too distant future...
  15. Ozzie's family is as supportive as CJ's. Nicely done segment in Beantown!

    Chapter 57

Well maybe not some of your readers, but to a family that places so much on family loyalty!!!

    Chapter 57

I keep coming back to the fact that Elizabeth said on the phone "take him out" and that might mean she was talking about Alex's father.... More please! P.S. And has anyone thought to look out for JJ's security in NY...what if he is kidnapped as a hostage?
  18. It's Tuesday, so I'd prefer a Cheeseburger---in Paradise!
  19. I guess I'm more like Myr than I thought. I've clicked and explored all these options several times.....except that my page has all those tabs filled with drivel about me....
  20. Edward, I knew you were bent, but that is ridiculous! Of all the Harry Chapin songs you picked the one that drives me crazy.
  21. The chapter covers so much I hardly know where to begin, but first Brett's reaction; I can relate! And for all the reasons mentioned above, but also because it's a parent's job to be worried about their children, especially when taking such a big step. The gay bar scene with Ozzie was interesting but I didn't see where it advanced the story or revealed anything new....except the video of men down under was great. Chipper's visit and the news about Harley was tantalizing. The get together for the coach was interesting and do we have another potential cast member? The fortieth birthday party was exceptionally well done with great music and camaraderie. Now I have to wait another week for more....
  22. Just a note of explanation to anyone not on site prior to January 2011: This flashback is from 2007. The reason each of the stories show they were posted on January 8, 2011 is because that was about when the site underwent a big software update and everything had to be restored into the new format.
  23. I can unequivocally state that Circumnavigation does not take perseverance, but it does take a chunk of time. Once you get started and into it, you will find yourself making time for it whenever you can. It is a magnum opus that this site is lucky to have and is treasured.
  24. A lot depends on the storyteller's ability to keep it real, literally. Much of fantasy is so disorganized and dare I say 'sloppy'? A good story told well will always keep me going and there are lots of stories that I love including the Pern series by Anne McCaffrey. Roger Zelazny's Amber series is another and that has some surprisingly unexpected twists and turns that are a bit beyond belief but the tales are so well told that you get drawn into them. I'm retired and have lots of books on my kindle that I haven't read as I buy them almost daily. So my point is, that a story has to draw me in and have decent writing to keep and hold my attention, whether it be fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, action adventure or even a gay romance in any genre. Otherwise, I will put it down and may or may not come back to it. I'm old, I'm picky, so there!
