Great descriptions of the sights on the road trip.

I don't see any problem with keeping your private life private. As an adult, I've never hung around anyone that was interested in talking socially about their sex life. Likewise, I don't hang around people that make racist or homophobic remarks or jokes either. I usually let them know I'm not amused and walk away and keep walking. At my age, life is too short to put up with bullshit and I certainly don't seem to be lacking in social outings because of my candor. There are lots of places and communities, even in large metro areas that may put on a public face of acceptance of diversity, but it is a facade. Racism and homophobia is alive and well in much of these United States and I expect that is true of the rest of the world as well. So while I don't publicly identify as gay, I have come to the realization that's a part of what I am....

Love the follow-up story! Everything was going good until the last two paragraphs. What a shitty development, especially for Jeremy!

Thanks for sharing all fifty-one chapters of this love story with a message. The Carnival was a success and the ending was a happy one.

Let's review and grade: Wildone does an adequate job of listing what happened the past week, but it is a predictable and a bit karaoke and lacks originality and humor after the first offering which actually had a funny line or two.... Overall grade C+ which is actually better than I could do, but hardly up to the standards of Renee!

Just read this as it was featured in today's anthology flashback for Desperate Ends for 2012. The story is a very fast read and very well told. The ambiguity as to gender of the main character is clever and the pacing is spot on. Well done!

Jamie does have to grow up and realize you can't protect everyone from everything and that we all make less than prescient decisions.... Stephanie is a keeper and everyone should have a big sister like her. Lucas may be more brother than cousin, but sending those pics was a dumbass thing to do. More please!

Congrats to the new mom and dad and may the precious baby bring joy and happiness along with the all the heartaches and heartstrings only kids can bring and make sing.

Somehow I missed this chapter and only found it because I was looking for when the last chapter was posted as it seemed a long, long time ago. I loved this chapter and have missed this story and hope the author has a new one in the works that will be posted soon!

At just over 4,000 words, this chapter is everything I could want, except for perhaps about 10,000 more words describing their awesome honeymoon. I love these characters and love seeing the whole world through their eyes. Carlos does a fantastic job of keeping it sweet without getting maudlin or overdoing repetitive love scenes that devolve into the mechanical. His interest in travel, sightseeing, architecture and meeting different people is reflected in his characters and in the rich panoply of descriptive scenes which make the whole series stand out. Thanks for sharing and I must admit you just keep getting better.

The story tags are incomplete, this is a romance and it is a very romantic story! Two young men who met a few books back and fell in lust which developed into friendship and then into a strong committed love have decided to marry and it is a wonderful story as seen through their eyes. The two main characters don't just have the looks, but the character, the intelligence, the humor, the compassion and the innate sense of goodness that makes you want to know them and enjoy their company. If any of that sounds interesting, then I suggest you read the whole series and when you get to this book, just marinate in the ambiance of joy.

I suspected the Clinton's would make an appearance when CJ noted the big black SUV's upon arriving at the Watergate. Cristina is a big girl and if she wants to saddle herself with a snobby social climber, I hope he at least has a big dick and knows how to use it. The Jefferson Memorial is a great piece of architecture and a beautiful setting for a wedding. It is also on the opposite side of the tidal basin and is not so over run with tourists....usually. Well done and damn, I have to wait another week....again.
