Sometimes the connection between two souls is so deep that it transcends time and gender. This is a story about two such souls who are joined and then torn apart—and go on to seek and find each other through time.

Colin McKenzie sells used cars and spoils his dog. In his life he's seen a lot of stupidity and he's become cranky and opinionated. The boy who first made his heart beat faster works in town now, divorced, but there's nothing there for either of them. Then a storm brings new life into a stale world for Colin and after so many years...he finally lives.

Twenty-eight year old baseball star Cal Grainger was living the good life until his girlfriend uttered three fateful words. Now his life has been turned upside down and he’s looking for a sign to show him what to do. Is it the sign he’s waiting for, or the guy holding it?

Nathan—a man who lives life in shadow and solitude—finds himself hunted due to an old assignment. While awaiting his execution, he crosses paths with a towering brute, forming a powerful bond of friendship, loyalty, and love. Alone, they struggle to stay ahead of their fate, but together find the strength to escape the deeds of their past.

There are leaps of faith. Is there a leap of hope? Originally written as a response to Prompt#448:" What did he just say?" It just kept growing.

Jake the typical bad boy in many ways; into a lot of stuff he shouldn't be, and raising hell when he can. The only problem is, Jake is burdened with a conscience. Jump in, it's going to be one hell of a ride, if Jake has anything to say about it.

A young man enters the confessional. He tells Father Peter Ruxton that he is gay, in love, and filled with self-loathing because the Church teaches that what he is doing is a sin. The priest, who struggles with his own sexuality, tries to offer counsel that shows compassion and empathy, while remaining within the strictures of his Church’s position on homosexual behavior. It does not end well. The young man leaves filled with bitterness, and Peter faces the reality that he must leave the Church if he is to be true to himself. He begins his search to find himself and his authentic life.
