This is my 'very' first M/M fiction writing project. My first true and real writing project of length for fun. So I believe I break every rule in the books and my writing is very raw and unclean. The story could use a rewrite to be honest, but I post this here, because it is the first. I'm not going to shy away from it. I just hope from this story to my latest works, I have grown in your eyes - the reader. Written around 2002 - 2003, first posted in 2003.

The continuing story of Andrew and Ryan Devlin-Major. The tale picks up five years after the end of 'Never walk alone'

Michael MacPherson and Devin McCaskill are neighbors, but they don’t meet until they start kindergarten. They immediately become fast friends and inseparable, but it’s becoming clear that something isn’t as it seems. After an incident happens, Devin’s family suddenly moves away. There is much to learn and discover, along the way he meets Colin, a builder who has his own family issues. The two explore how to make a life the way that they want, irrespective of the weight of their family experiences.

The story takes place in Cheshire, UK. The main setting, Netherwich, is my invention based on elements of Crewe and Nantwich. The language uses some regional idiom.
