The 4th Spinoff story from the "Shelter" series, an ex-military officer is forced to race out into the threat of a total social shut down to save his son during the chaos of a zombie apocalypse! As the head pilot of the Santa Claus, Priest is a scoundrel, a scammer, and a dreamer. A good time and making money is all he needs, but the ship intersects with a dwarf and a stranger, both with histories that may change Priest's priorities.

In modern times, with the vampire population growing to massive numbers in the Chicago area, a program had to be set up in order to take care of the carnage left behind and continue the cover up that vampires actually exist. This is Gus Showalski's first night on the job. Is he ready to believe? Of has he gotten himself into a situation that he REALLY wasn't prepared for?
