19th century young man meets a future king in school. They become lovers.

"1968" is a sequel to "Chronicles of an Academic Predator." It takes place in (big surprise) 1968, amid the revolutionary climate of the United States and France. Author's Note: The events of this year were huge, and were constant, I can't imagine a year in recent history that was so convulsive. In fact, there were so many major events that sometimes it felt like writing the story was like wrapping the characters around the history, rather than the other way around.

Book ONE of the Boy’s Trilogy. Peter, the quiet, scholarly, marching band member, and Tom, the outgoing, popular, athlete, have a chance meeting. Outwardly so different, inwardly so much the same. They develop a strong relationship but being the 1950s they hide their true feelings from friends and family. From high school to university to graduate school to professions their love grows while having numerous adventures. In Chapter 36 they meet Vladek whose coming of age story is in the book – Russia My Home.

In many ways Sloan Stevenson is a regular guy. A product of the modern world of Studio 54 and the 'do your own thing' attitude of the swinging 70s, he has his thoughts of independence shaken by meeting a great guy and his twelve-year-old daughter, Katie.

The story is set pre Julius Caesar. Marcus, an ex centurion and roman citizen has settled to a life running his family's farm, after the loss of his parents. We find him in the slave market looking for new slaves. (the story contains some darker images)

Rigby, impossibly innocent, swaps suffocating middle-class New Zealand for love and liberation in nineteen-sixties London. Revelling in the freedom granted by anonymity, he becomes an actor, stripper, rent boy, teacher and resolute seeker of new experiences while living and travelling in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, when travellers were uncommon.

Having survived his tour of duty in Iraq during the worst of the fighting, Doc Tompkins was looking forward to returning home and putting the carnage and the horrors of war behind him. Content he was leaving it securely thousands of miles behind him, along with all the chickenshit the US Army can inflict upon its best and brightest.
