The story is set pre Julius Caesar. Marcus, an ex centurion and roman citizen has settled to a life running his family's farm, after the loss of his parents. We find him in the slave market looking for new slaves. (the story contains some darker images)

Cezar Cozman is resigned with the fate drawn for him by his parents. Pulled from his never-ending abroad studies in which he has never excelled, duels, gambling, and scandalous affairs aside, he is to be married within a few months’ time to a woman he has no feelings for.

There is little comfort in knowing what the future holds. Cezar also knows well that he will never have what his heart truly desires, but he sees no other way. That, until one unbearably hot day, a beautiful horse thief enters his life, impetuous and unexpected like a summer storm, and powerful like a force of nature, bent on stealing his heart away.

World War I is coming to an end, but for two men, both former soldiers, peace means a return to their separate homes and their separate lives.

Mike grew up hearing his grandfather’s war stories. Mike has always been able to talk to his grandfather about anything but he was nervous about telling his grandfather about his boyfriend. With a large family, and very little income, Edwin and Archie are sent to Australia to start a new life, with just some belongings, a small amount of stock, and a very small amount of money.

When the ship lands at Ceduna in South Australia, the brothers manage to buy a farm, some food, basic supplies, a horse and wagon, and they head off on their new life.

A couple of young guys in the present try to figure out a mysterious legend from the past.

Meanwhile, some years earlier, a young, Native American wife is being admired by a young warrior from another family, temporarily stranded because of an injury.

And there are bears.

It’s the early 1950’s in Australia and Ryan Seaton has a dark secret. At twelve years old he’s discovered he’s a homosexual and in that decade being gay could be fatal. Added to that, his mother uses emotional blackmail, making his home-life miserable. Then his best mate confides he’s also gay, but the combined hostility of society, religion and the law, ensures that any relief is short-lived. Tragedy follows.

The decade known as the 1950’s was word-wide, the worst time to be gay, but out of the depths of despair a new period of enlightenment began. This is the story of some young souls living through and surmounting that awful decade.
