Jacques finds an old nautical chart among his father's estate. A handwritten sequence of numbers leads him to an underwater cave.There, he discovers a chronicle that tells the story of the ancient city He Kalliste.

The New Boot has opened and is operating in a similar fashion to its predecessor. As we would all suspect The New Boot generates new stories, some good and some not so good. This is one of those stories and takes place around The New Boot's first Christmas.

This story has been revised and edited to improve the reader's experience, it has not been changed in any other way.

Home is at the end of the road. For Scott Walker its been a long eight years living abroad. But now all he wants to do is go home. Yet coming home isn't easy as he realizes that while home hasn't changed, he has and trying to adjust to his old life isn't easy. He is caught up trying to prove that he isn't the stranger everyone mistakes him for. And love threatens to drag him into a bitter family rivalry.

Woody has just started collage as a botany major where he's glad to be out from under his parents' domain. Now free to explore his sexuality, he's been dating Sam for the last couple weeks, although he's wondering about his shy roommate's interest as well. He's suppose to be going out with Sam on Halloween night, but his roommate doesn't want him to go. He's caught in between.

While tracking a potential suspect for multiple murders in the area, a detective comes across a series of journals in an abandoned apartment and begins to read them.
