"Man in Motion," follows Be Rad and begins in 1985. To most Americans, 1985 was about the second Reagan term and the economic boom that was following the stagnant 70's. The culture was wrapped up in materialism, so it's no wonder that Madonna's "Material Girl" was popular then. Then there is this parallel culture, the gay culture, reeling from the onslaught of AIDS.

Nick Jacobs has had a pretty crappy life. His mother is a drug and alcohol abusing prostitute. He never knew who his father was. Sadly, Nick ends up in the foster care system in Austin, Texas. After seven years in and out of different foster families, he ends up in a group home. Everything changes when the White family takes him to lunch and spends an afternoon with Nick at their home. It's a world that Nick had never even dreamed of. Will he fit in? Will he ever experience the kind of unconditional love most others take for granted?

Bloodlines is the eighth story in the CAP saga. It starts in 1998, and introduces a new character, Matt Carrswold. Matt is from a wealthy family in Shaker Heights, is a hockey player, and an excellent student. His world is about to be turned upside down.

Through it all though, despite the external war, there is also an internal war, one that might be even harder to win.

The story continues (from "Chronicles of an Academic Predator" and "1968") with a new narrator, Stefan, and a new era. This story is set in 1973-74, a period of history that is noted for events such as the Yom Kippur War, the Arab Oil Embargo, and Watergate. More than in past stories, economics are a big issue here, due to increasing inflation and an extended bear stock market.

Hunter and Dale are all set for the next chapter of their lives; parenthood. Having just moved to Cedrich Falls, a small town in the Midwest, they become fast friends with their neighbor. After taking in two kids in need, they soon find themselves up against the towns self proclaimed authority on what is morally right.
