'Confounded: Part II' is the sequel to 'Confounded: Part I'. It is the second installment of the Confounded Trilogy.

This is the story of Kit, the son of Mitch & Taylan, and his foray into the world of love.

This story centers around The Hollow Hills - a horse farm in Vermont - and Galen and Joshua. Galen moves to New England after breaking up with his boyfriend and meets Josh. Their relationship is anything but easy, with many obstacles standing in their way. When tragedy strikes, they need to learn how to redefine their lives and live with the after-effects.

Denial is a lonely path. Lack of honesty is divisive. And self-loathing is a destructive force that's difficult to overcome. 'Dissonance' is a tale that centers around Ben Mansfield and Travis Cooper: two characters from very different backgrounds who, after a chance meeting one night, must learn to face the discordant elements that have fractured their lives and prevented them from finding love and acceptance - especially within themselves.

Josh’s life leaves a lot to be desired. Between his conservative parents and being an outcast at school, he feels desperately alone. His only outlet is swimming. Running into trouble at the public pool brings major changes to his life; a new friend, a first love and a boy who looks like he just stepped out of Josh’s mirror...

Short stories are definitely not my strong suit, and this attempt soon became a continuous story inspired by the challenge of First Line prompts.
