Inspired to be a blend of Monster Collecting Anime and the Omegaverse's strange and eclectic rules and social structures, This is the world of Shire's Grove. To be gay in this world places you into one of two magical subspecies of human: Conductors and Orchestrals. Conductors are the head of their Pride of Orchestrals and have command over their magical singing voices, and the two types of gay people live in a symbiotic relationship with one another. Normally, these men are born among their own kind. However, for those like Kyle and Anselm, there are instances where they are born among the hetero world. They are in for some culture shock.

When young Skyler first approached a strange boy one night who was sitting by a running river and a small campfire, it was because of a sudden infatuation that he couldn't quite explain. Out in the woods, in the middle of nowhere, the two boys decide to spend some quiet time together. But it appears this stranger in the dark may just claim to be more than what Skyler was expecting...

This is one of those stories I wrote due to a discussion I watched between Renee and Lugh. They were talking about borrowing her vampire and getting him to listen. Considering I had read her story and thought the vampire being discussed was sort of heroic I thought what would happen if a vampire was the hero? Okay so my mind works strangely. This is the result.

Becoming a vampire is nothing like they tell you in those books. Frankly, it sucks. Especially when you're a failure, your master rejects you and you want nothing more than to fade away from your miserable existence, even if it's Christmas Eve.

Finally fed up with the lies and the divisive rhetoric being cascaded down on the severely uninformed population...one vampire decides to take his companions and a few savage Nosferatu variants to a local news station to bring an end to the farce and finally get them to tell the truth. Will they finally admit to being puppets and stooges to a higher power? Or will they face the horror of being ripped apart by the very monsters that they choose to ignore?

Skylar enjoys a quiet All Hallows Eve at home until he has an unexpected visitor.

Taking place during the heated conflict of the Vietnam war, a young vampire travels out to save an American teen soldier who happens to crash land near his village. This was a story that I began a long time ago, but unfortunately lost due to a computer crash. Now, recreated from scratch, I hope you guys will enjoy this different take on the "Gone From Daylight" story, as it MAY just come into play at a later date!
