Being gay has always had its pitfalls, but nothing could have prepared us for the devastation of the last two decades of the twentieth century. Michael is very sick, but there is one more thing he feels the need to do as he lays in bed waging the biggest fight of his life. As an activist, he still wants to be of some use, no matter how little. It's not his nature to give up until he has to. This is a story about PRIDE, and what it represents to our community. Pride month means many things to many people. For some it is a parade and a chance to celebrate, but for others, it holds different connotations.

I occasionally try my hand at writing haiku. I'm not claiming that any of it is really all that good. And some haiku purists might even claim that I don't always follow the rules of haiku correctly. Indeed some of my attempts could be more correctly classified as senryu, rather than haiku.

Be all that as it may, I shall add my individual attempts over the next while. Some have been written many years ago. Others will be more recent.

As the occasional offering may be somewhat dark in nature, I shall give the collection a rating of Mature. I will give individual chapter warnings where necessary

This is my attempt to redeem the terrible and tragic ending of the series finale (15×20) of Supernatural by continuing the story into the next season, as an epilogue. My story seeks to save Dean, rescue Castiel from the Empty, check in on Chuck as a human, reunite Dean and Cas, and give Sam and Dean the happy ending they should have had. Destiel shall be canon. As nick faces the end of his life, he has to find a way to get rid of the clingy Filipino boy that won't leave him alone. One last cruel act and then he can die in peace.

Crossing the street brings back Kyle's memories of his sexual past and the car accident it lead to that landed him in prison. Believing he had made amends and reformed himself, God was not done with him yet.
