I have had a very unusual life, which started from the moment I was born and named Sebastian Mitchell Amos Grantly in Douglas, on the Isle of Man, UK. Things dramatically changed when just before Christmas and at nearly six years old, my mother and I flew to Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, where my name officially became Mitchell Amos Grant, at first, I had no idea why.

Jason and his friends are getting involved in an apocalyptic plot that is based on an old prophecy that had been hidden in a cloister. Brother Simon finds the text in the year 1012. He flees the cloister in search of the man who can stop the end of the world: the man Jason. May 2012: Jason Bolding is haunted by nightmares. Slowly, he and his friends find out what the dreams are all about and they realize that time is running out. No romance plot.

How many words do you need to tell a story? Here are my attempts at micro-fiction - a series of unrelated mini tales, all under 50 words in length.

The Peacher empire needs Justin Peacher-White and he rises to the challenge. But it means moving job, partner and child to the Rothenian capital, Strelzen. It goes off better than he has a right to expect, but what he doesn’t realise is that an implacable enemy is on his trail, and the very existence of Rothenia is in the balance. Fortunately he has unlikely allies in the shape of two way-out monks and a fifteenth-century countess.

Rigby, impossibly innocent, swaps suffocating middle-class New Zealand for love and liberation in nineteen-sixties London. Revelling in the freedom granted by anonymity, he becomes an actor, stripper, rent boy, teacher and resolute seeker of new experiences while living and travelling in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, when travellers were uncommon.

Angel takes care of the family he's chosen to make his own, no matter what the cost. When a client takes things too far, Angel is the only one who can stop him from hurting other young men. Against all his instincts, Angel enters witness protection. His expectations aren't high, especially when the cop in charge seems to despise him, but when matters of the heart are concerned, some things just can't be ignored and if Angel comes through with his life he'll find it changed beyond all imagination.
