Tony and Jordan are life-long friends and do everything together. George Rivera doesn't talk to her father. Hardly talks to her mom. And she finds there even some things she can't talk to her best friend about, like her feelings for her. So why I guess the only thing to do is to...write. She's not a good writer, she's an artist. Well, a wannabe artist at least. It's really dumb for her to have a journal. But maybe that might change.

Stephen McLeod, an early Computer Science Geek passes from High School to University in the 1980s, during an hysterical, venomous and lengthy battle to reform New Zealand's archaic laws against male homosexuality.

Paradoxically, the political battle makes it both easier and harder for a young man to come out and make his way in gay society that is finally emerging from the shadows.

Graham (28) goes to the Christmas Eve service to be with his husband John. He is alienated from his deeply religious family and detached from the warmth of the service. He identifies a kindred spirit teenage Theo and learns they have more in common than he thought as Theo is joined by Jesse. Graham leaves strengthened by the encounter.
