Moggy's Mutterings - 24. Memories

1.

Sun drizzles light among the tree tops.
White fluffy cloud float on blue skies.
Breezy wind currents blow across my brow.
Reclining on a grassy hill, allowing my body to feel.
Long ago days of childish laughter.
College days lost in lover’s arms.
Today lovely memories and soft sighs.

2.

Dance wildly with me and awaken my heart
to the moments that become memories..
Flow lightly through the channels of my heart,
and plant memories to relive.
Tread softly through the corridors of my dreams,
as not to disturb the lingering of memories of a time of you.

I agree, the movement makes both of these poems stand out, from the drizzling of sunlight to the passing of clouds to the flowing of memories. They each evoke melancholy.

thanks Mac. i think all memories are tinged with hints of melancholy

Wow moggy. It seems u r in a brighter mood. The first one seemed like u r lying in a grassy land watching the sunlight trickle through trees in ur lovers arm...

And second one was very reminicing...beautiful
