My real first month on GA.

I don't generally write many blog posts, I never really have.  I used to keep a journal in my teens and honestly I wish I still had them to fall back on to see how my thought processes have changed over the years.  Have I gotten better, have I gotten worse.  I joined GA back in 2006, because I was friends with someone who is now considered a Classic Author, but never really posted anything.  I was brought back again in 2011, 2012 but still didn't post anything. Weekly Wrap Up (Apr. 23 - Apr. 29)

It appears that spring has finally sprung in my neck of the woods. All week we are supposed to be above 20 (68F) and by Thursday up to 27 (80.6 F)  I will need to be bringing out the SPF 2200 for that day 😊 Sure enough, I head back to the office grind on Monday, but I really can't complain about the temperatures as I was not going to let the weather dictate my vacation so I wore shorts and sandals every day 😎I do however hope that everyone that are experiencing adverse weather in their area are

A Farewell and a Poem

The end was coming faster than any of us wanted.  My father knew he was dying and said as much in early March this year. He'd battled cancer over the last three years.  I wonder if he'd opted for the surgery from the start whether he'd be with us now. He chose chemo and radiation and other options. I don't discuss this with my mother. She doesn't need me to bring it up. But, how he fought this disease was his own battle in the long run. He died as he'd lived—on his own road.

“Life is so cruel,” it was all I could think of to say to my nephew Stuart, who was on the other end of the phone. I was sat on the Brompton Road, the traffic rushing passed me with far too much haste, slight drizzle beginning to fall. Weekly Wrap Up (Apr. 16 - Apr. 22)

The one good thing about taking forced holidays is you get a lot of crap done that you should have done way in the past  Let's see, I finally got my painting done that I started in November. Time to Live
