Site Administrator wildone Posted November 17, 2007 Site Administrator Posted November 17, 2007 Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I'm double posting  . Just wondering if CJ will be quarantined for two weeks when he gets back to the US. Don't all animals have to be locked away for a specific period of time? Hopefully there is a wireless router in the detention centre Steve
Site Administrator Graeme Posted November 17, 2007 Author Site Administrator Posted November 17, 2007 Just wondering if CJ will be quarantined for two weeks when he gets back to the US. Don't all animals have to be locked away for a specific period of time? I don't think he'll have a problem. There seems to be special rules on quarantine for GA members, as I've never had any problems getting into the USA.
AFriendlyFace Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 You've only just noticed this thread? Is there something we've been doing wrong? A thread dedicated to the most prolific self-titled lurker in GA history, and you didn't see it? We need to advertise better.... Well I hadn't been poking around as much as I should have been. In fact I've only just noticed that there's a new chapter of LTMP available!
Site Administrator Graeme Posted November 17, 2007 Author Site Administrator Posted November 17, 2007 In fact I've only just noticed that there's a new chapter of LTMP available! I know it wasn't intended, but you're a cruel person, Kevin There's a new chapter of LTMP due very, very soon (as in within 48 hours), and your post made me go check to see if has been posted early. It's not up yet I've got to go another day or two before I find out what's happened next....

Site Administrator wildone Posted November 18, 2007 Site Administrator Posted November 18, 2007 (edited) I'm soooo french canadian,,, i've finally made myself a poutine Interesting, I just finished eating a poutine when I logged on and saw your post . If anyone has never had one, you are missing a amazing french canadian delight!! Maybe we can serve up some at the coronation party too ! So, do you think Joe will suprise us all by posting at 12 midnight on the 18th based on US CST? If so, only 3 hours and 5 minutes to go. Have a great weekend everyone. Site Administrator Graeme Posted November 18, 2007 Author Site Administrator Posted November 18, 2007 Any chance of a recipe or other indication of what a poutine is? Yes, I'm too lazy to look it up for myself Anyway, if I looked it up, I wouldn't have an excuse to make another post in this thread (in trubute to C James, the most prolific self-titled lurker in the history of Gay Authors).
FrenchCanadian Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Any chance of a recipe or other indication of what a poutine is? Yes, I'm too lazy to look it up for myself That's real easy to do,, make some french fries,, put on some cheese on it (preferably curds) then cover it with hot brown gravy
Site Administrator wildone Posted November 18, 2007 Site Administrator Posted November 18, 2007 That's real easy to do,, make some french fries,, put on some cheese on it (preferably curds) then cover it with hot brown gravy Yummy I know some Americans cringe when us Canadians put gravy on our fries, but add in the cheese curds and you have a great snack, meal, or side dish. Especially if you let the gravy and fries melt the cheese a bit.
AFriendlyFace Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Where's my hot chocolate? Ieshwar **makes Ieshwar a gallon of fresh hot chocolate and whips up some biscuits to go with it** Here ya go Yummy I know some Americans cringe when us Canadians put gravy on our fries, but add in the cheese curds and you have a great snack, meal, or side dish. Especially if you let the gravy and fries melt the cheese a bit. Well personally cheese fries are my favourite bad-for-you food, but I definitely think I could do without the gravy. Heck why not have a little bit of katchup or ranch to dip them in?
Site Administrator Graeme Posted November 18, 2007 Author Site Administrator Posted November 18, 2007 That's real easy to do,, make some french fries,, put on some cheese on it (preferably curds) then cover it with hot brown gravy I've heard of these. They do sound delicious I know people who like tomato sauce (ketchup for the North Americans) with their chips (french fries for the North Americans), but I'm not one of those. Gravy, on the other hand, goes well with chips. I also love melted cheese, so this sounds absolutely divine! The only problem would be that I would just put on more weight, and I'm already heavier than I should be (or want to be)....
AFriendlyFace Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 (edited) As a vegetarian, non-caffeine consuming, non-smoking, vitamin taking, moderate drinker, I eat healthily about 80% of the time. So one of my favourite things to do every now and again is to go to a restaurant get a big, sweet, alcoholic drink with a nice big order of fries smothered in cheese with a side of ranch, and then have a decadent piece of chocolate cake covered in rich icing, whipped cream, chocolate sauce (or another flavourful sauce like raspberry) and a bit of ice cream for dessert. MMMMMMMMM Edited November 18, 2007 by AFriendlyFace
