Thanks, everyone. Doug (and Chris and Steve) are taking me to dinner to Downtown, then to see The Arabian Nights at Berkeley Rep. Tomorrow will cap it off if Cal beats Stanford. Of course we'll be at the game -- it's only a 10 minute walk from our dorm.

Cal did beat Stanford today, 37-16. It wasn't as close as the score might make it seem. We got the Axe back! Fantastic game, beautiful weather, ecstatic Cal fans, sad Stanford fans. What more could anyone want for the day after their birthday? It was wonderful!

 

Washington (0-10 record) is next. Then a bowl game. Go Bears!
