I spent the weekend snowboarding in the Poconos without internet. Did a barrel roll on my birthday... sideways... down the slope... When you get to my level of skill, you stop having frequent small falls, and start having infrequent wipeouts. That one adjusted my internal organs a bit. The good news is I think I found my terminal velocity. Going down a slope, one that was straight, smooth, and relatively flat, the wind resistance hitting my jacket slowed my acceleration to nil. Felt like I was going a few ticks over 50 MPH. Nice and breezy. I suspect those skiers will think twice before calmly walking side-by-side at the bottom of that one slope from lift to lift.
