I'm using my Oxtrayan for Dummies as a reference while writing that dialogue. Gary I think a donger is a donger in any language :2thumbs:

After spending a couple of weeks riding a motorcycle around NSW with a lot of time in Sydney I did come back home calling everyone mate.

Using mate and ordering a VB got me through any pub I walked into so that was okay with me!

Australian delicacy?

I think Australian men are hot...the accent ...wow...but if they EAT those, I think I'll stick with Latino, Italian, Irish ,Scottish etc, etc, etc...and especially Danish men...they are the best...they make me drool so much I have to carry a towel around with me! In my dream life, I end up married to a hot Dane named Tim...sigh

Y'all are too picky, I'm an equal opportunity ho...... my world map has little map pins in XXX countries.[the number is on a need to know basis.]

Back to Aussie grub... did you know they eat both the animals on their shield. I tried both Roo and Emu and they were pretty good. I did have to block the memory of cute little joeys inside mom's pouch

Oh I'm not picky. I do have my favorites though!

About the Aussie grub: I'll try anything once. My rule is "you have to try it before you can say you don't like it". Heck, I've tried squirrel, beaver, snake, and a lot of other of the more interesting types of northern ontario grub. Wouldn't eat some of it ever again, but I tried it. Lol.

I was in Thunder Bay for a couple of days more years ago than I care to remember and ended up at a small restaurant for lunch. Growing up in south Florida and the Caribbean I'm used to seafood being from the ocean and tasting like fish. Not a lot of fresh water fish experience. The special that day was some sort of little fish where you got a pile of them on a plate. Cant' recall what it was but I forced myself to order it and ended up loving it. I always try the local food if possible whenever I travel

LOL.  Never met an Aussie yet who's eaten a dead dingo's donger (although in the outback, anything's possible).

But Headstall, don't forget - the Scots eat haggis, which is sheep offal.  The Italians eat Casu Marzu, which is a cheese with live maggots in it.  And Latinos eat Caldo de Cardan, which is soup made of bull's penises and testicles.

A dead dingo's donger seems tame by comparison!

If they were whole, headless little fish, then they were probably smelts?

Dude way to kill the dream.

I've tried haggis, but the rest? I might have to forgoe my food rule because none of that is coming near me.

Carlos,

I emailed Marcus McNally using the link you mentioned and to my surprise, I got a really nice surprise a couple of hours later.

I'd like to post his reply here if you think that's OK - I think you'd like to see what he said about you :)

Please do so, Wayne. Told ya he was good about replying to readers!

I'd like to remind everyone... I do not believe in censorship! as long as it meets GA guidelines, so you don't get in trouble with them, post away. I may disagree with someone's point of view but I will always defend their right to hold it no matter how idiotic I may think it is! ;)

Just wait until the Brits read that! Scots and Irish are in but the English are out?

I'm covered under the Latino label so I have no issues with his comment!
