Hooray, Emi!  And here are my two sonnets for the end of May.  https://www.gayauthors.org/story/parker-owens/occasionalpoetry/27

They're very impressive Sonnets, Parker. You continue to make your quatrains flow more and more, and I appreciate your quick, technical progress along these lines :)

Your poems and their analogies also touch me very deeply...

I cannot keep silent. This also appears in Occasional Poetry.

Evil,
masquerading
as righteous religion,
released a blind and senseless rage.
Weep, now.

Recall
and mourn our friends and those we loved;
ease uncomprehending pain,
and stand against
evil.

There are good deeds and bad deeds in every religion. But implementing one person's evilness to entire religion, is never good(in my opinion). Religion never said to kill people, even in ugly times. These poems touched my heart, both good way and bad way. Sorry if my words felt offended to you.

I myself grieving on lost souls of Orlando. Just putting the pieces together to be strong. Thank you for the poems my friend.

I'm not sure if I will submit this. I wrote it following Shakespeare (Richard the III, Act III, scene I , I believe) when I was sad and shocked by my anger and fury.

I have eyes,

hands,

and a heart that pumps blood through my veins.

I am warmed by the same sun.

I freeze when it’s cold.

I hurt by the same weapons.

If you shoot me, I die.

If you wrong me, should I not seek revenge?

The hate you’re trying to teach me

I will not execute,

only love.

Thoughts?

I think this very fine, Adi. Your words provoke thought and resolve to love.

I like it very much. First it just feels and reads with such classic style. Then it emphasizes a shared humanity and while we could in frustration seek vengeance instead we offer love. These are lovely words please share them ...

Love it Adi.. A reminder that we all are human, and I think it carries a message that should be shared... imo...

That was fantastic. You have done great. It was really new perspective of the thought. Nicely done...

By 'submit this' you mean to the Love is Love poetry anthology...? I would say definitely do that; it's an awesome poem.
