Thanks 😊

If there were real issues that needed reporting, the fact she is not going through the proper chain of command - ie, her boss - is of major concern, imo.

@kbois advice is excellent.

I agree with what was said above. Document everything you can from the recent past, continue to document going forward, and bring your boss up to speed.

Hit the loved reaction your post but this line made me want to hit laugh reaction. Wish we could have both. 🤣

Oh, btw, I'm so stealing this line.

Document. Document. Document.

Write down specifics anytime she pulls that s#!+. That way you will have ammunition when you and your other co-workers go to your manager. It won't be a he said/she said situation if you have details.

Good luck!

This is absolutely essential.  We had a dreadful teacher who cost us quite a few students and hits to reputation but when new HR director received request to sack her, the bosses had recorded nothing, even when she told a guy that it was no surprise his mother had only one arm (true) because of how bad he was. No one had complained about her in writing and she escaped Scott free.
take care Chris.

Here it should be “winter-lite”. Instead, balcony windows wide open and a nice 20°.  It’s not cold enough to make oranges change from green to orange!

Okay.  I hate to be this person, but I've had it with the cold.  I'm tired of walking out in the morning to temperatures in the teens and low 20s.  I'm tired of the sleet, ice and frost.  Of the sharp edges and cold corners.  I don't understand how northerners live like this.

I totally get it. I've lived in the north. I've lived in the mid-atlantic and now I'm in the south.  Frigid temperatures hit me harder now whenever I'm exposed to them.  Not having a proper winter coat doesn't help either.

On the flip side,  I'm completely over the heat and humidity that swamps Florida for 4-6 months.  Not to mention that dreaded "H" word.

If I had to choose hot or cold, I'd choose cold. You can add more layers but there's only so much you can take off. 🤭

Have a good day everyone!

I don't mind the cold. I hate cold and raining.

Have a good day all.

Totally agree.  Here it’s 7 pm, 21°C and I’ve had to put the heating on as the air coming off the sea is so damp.  Walked evil daughters of Satan (aka Greta and Lilebeth the mini wieners) and gosh was it “chilly”.

No, thanks. Last week we dropped to -2c at 6am, when I was outside waiting for a bus.

Overnight tonight it's gonna drop to 18f, or -8c

I hate it

I work outside all year long. If I had my druthers, spring and fall would be preferable. Winter over summer because, as @kbois says, you can always put another layer on.

That being said, I remember as a teen daytime Temps this time of year being 30's f (single digits c ) . This morning the weather geeks was talking about how Temps were 10* below avg. 2 min later he was talking about global warning.  Ok, so if it's colder than avg isn't that a good thing? Wouldn't that, if maintained long term, lower the average to what we had 50 yrs ago, thereby relieving global warming?

Just saying, they don't get to complain about global warming, then complain its too cold!

In North East Ohio 50 miles south of Cleveland we have been lucky and had a dusting of snowfall. 50 miles to the North East of us, they have had over 5 feet plus of snow over the past few days with more expected the next few days. Roofs are caving in, trees are coming down from the weight of the snowfall and roads have been closed very often lately. Lake Erie has been at record temps, and until it freezes over this is expected to continue.

We had a rather significant quake today in Northwestern California. Ratings have varied between 6.0 and 7.3. I'd put it around 6.3-6.4, just based on past experience: no way it was a 7.

We shook quite a bit and for quite a while. The cats were spooked and ran around like crazy things till they found a hiding spot, and the whole house shook and groaned.

But this little dwelling has been around since 1940. It has yet to fall, and there have been far stronger quakes in its history.

We lost a single ceramic reindeer. Other than that, there was no damage and no injuries. So I'll take it.

I hope everybody is doing well out there.

Good to here you and the cats 🐈 are OK.
