Popular Post Headstall Posted October 24, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2020 It's chilly today, but I had a great walk with Cookie. The woods are magical... a deep carpet of red, orange, and yellow, but with still some leaves on the trees. Cookie has a ball plowing through all the colors, putting on the brakes to sniff something out before she's off again at full speed. My horse loves carrots... haven't met one who doesn't... and I fed her the peels from last night's dinner, After she finished them, she stared me down until I fed her the whole ones in my pocket. I love those little moments, and I will truly miss them when she is no longer here. Have a great and special day, my friends. 7

She tripped on something in her shed after she put the lawn mower away after mowing her lawn yesterday, and fell on her knee. It's swollen and painful today, but wasn't too bad right after she fell. 1 6

Hey Sexy Lumberjack, I drove through a part of a forest patch on my way back home this morning and it was full of beautiful colors too. It drizzled all day but it was warm with 15°C. I went shopping with dad this afternoon, he got perfume and a long sleeves polo shirt and a zip cardi. 1 5

Well, your neighborhood ortho PTA likes the advice the doctor gave, if that means anything. I hope her knee improves! 4 3
Popular Post Marty Posted October 24, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2020 (edited) It's a little after 11:30pm here in Ireland, but I've had a couple of really hectic days, so I'm going to go to bed shortly. So I'll take this opportunity to say "Good night" to all of you, and I'll talk to you on the morrow. I'll just leave you all with this little question, and see if any of you have managed to come up with the correct answer by the time I check in again tomorrow: Which day in 2020 is the longest day over here in Ireland? Popular Post Bucket1 Posted October 25, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 25, 2020 And @Valkyrie I haven’t forgotten about the cocktails, just doing some research, making a list, checking it twice... it’s the season for it 6

However, winter is coming and with it more comfortable weather. 5

Not a fan of humidity here... now that’s an understatement it was perfectly fine inside the house but heading out shopping and then up to Dad's, it was not good Why is it easier to give good advice about staying hydrated than actually do it yourself? 6

My furnace is coming on a lot at night, and I have it set at 67. I wouldn't mind if winter held off until Christmas.... 6
