Well good news about my mom... doc doesn't think she broke or tore anything.  So rest, ice, and if it's not better next week, then x-rays.

It's chilly today, but I had a great walk with Cookie. The woods are magical... a deep carpet of red, orange, and yellow, but with still some leaves on the trees. Cookie has a ball plowing through all the colors, putting on the brakes to sniff something out before she's off again at full speed.  

My horse loves carrots... haven't met one who doesn't... and I fed her the peels from last night's dinner, After she finished them, she stared me down until I fed her the whole ones in my pocket. I love those little moments, and I will truly miss them when she is no longer here.

Oh I  didn't know she was hurt. Glad to know it's nothing major

She tripped on something in her shed after she put the lawn mower away after mowing her lawn yesterday, and fell on her knee.  It's swollen and painful today, but wasn't too bad right after she fell.

Hey Sexy Lumberjack, I drove through a part of a forest patch on my way back home this morning and it was full of beautiful colors too.

It drizzled all day but it was warm with 15°C. I went shopping with dad this afternoon, he got perfume and a long sleeves polo shirt and a zip cardi.

It's a little after 11:30pm here in Ireland, but I've had a couple of really hectic days, so I'm going to go to bed shortly.

It has been unseasonably warm and humid here at mum's. Thistle and are not fans. We'd acclimated to the cooler crisper weather of Autumn back home in PA. However, winter is coming and with it more comfortable weather.

Not a fan of humidity here... now that’s an understatement  

it was perfectly fine inside the house but heading out shopping and then up to Dad's, it was not good

Why is it easier to give good advice about staying hydrated than actually do it yourself?

My furnace is coming on a lot at night, and I have it set at 67.   I wouldn't mind if winter held off until Christmas....
