Hide contents I'm not totally happy with it, but think Gary may like it. If only because it's one of the windows in the old cottage in my back garden. I'm not Gary but I like it. There's a lot to absorb and appreciate. An example being the change in construction material from brick to stone. Which was original? I would guess the stone as the brick appears to be fill in but why? Was there a larger opening originally or was a repair needed? So what is it about the photo that makes you less than happy? 1 4

In Ireland, Little Christmas is the traditional name for the Feast of the Epiphany (January 6th), celebrated after the conclusion of the twelve days of Christmas. It is also called in Irish Nollaig na mBan ("Women's Christmas") because, traditionally, Irish men take on household duties for the day. So maybe that's why Aunti Mame would be hoping for a little Christmas. 4 2

Yes, there was originally a wider window, as can be seen by the lintel, which carries on across the brickwork. As, and when, I ever get round to repairing it, I shall open it up to its full width again. As to what makes me less than totally happy about it, I think I should have maybe taken it in landscape format to show the full lintel... Truth be told, I'm never totally happy with any of my photographs. But I think that's a fairly common fault with most artists (if I dare use such a word to try and describe my photographic skills - or lack thereof). 6

Popular Post Sherye Story Reader Posted November 28, 2020 Popular Post Posted November 28, 2020 I am sure you know the good and the worse things about each other on here. Here is mine. Well, you don't know the worse about me and I don't think you want to know. I am not a victim but my stepson is the victim. He loves me like I am his true mom even though he knows his biological mom. I was always there for him when his dad and real mom weren't. But whatever I did in the past, my stepson forgives me, totally. My only son I ever gave birth to made me blood family to my stepson and he did get to meet him one time and he wants to take good care of him when he finally gets to find him again. My son has Down Syndrome and was adopted by his foster family when he was a baby. My stepson, Justin is a real gentleman who loves the ones in his family that stays true to him! Hope this info doesn't make me look like a bad person. I have changed for the good and will never hurt anyone again. 3 3

The black and white really brings out the texture of the stone. 7 1

Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted November 28, 2020 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted November 28, 2020 I'm beating @Timothy M. to the punch, posting this one. Reminds me of when I was in college and came back to my dorm one day to find someone had erected a giant snow penis, complete with two snowballs covered in dry grass. It was very anatomically correct. https://satwcomic.com/snow-cocks?fbclid=IwAR28vfoA-CwJH_kam5SFB6X-Fy3U2uRFsHn_6pcqtIpDcTvFMi4ElqTVrWk 7

My mom owned a bar back in the late 70's and a customer brought her a plaque and me a coat rack to put behind the bar. The only problem about them, even though everyone died laughing, was the plaque for my mom was the backend of a horses ass. Mine was the part you hung coats on that were penis's. I was so embarrassed. My mom had the guy mount them to the wall for everyone to see! When we closed the bar down years later, the plaque and the coat rack stayed in the building! 1 6
