Good stuff!

I'm expecting my potatoes to start pushing shoots through the ground in the next week. The parsnip have finally germinated - as have the first row of peas I sowed.

There's a variety like that over here, called "cylindrica" (if I remember correctly). Haven't a clue as to their nationality, though.

🤔 French breakfast radish?

Nope, we do not have them for breakfast but more like appetizers or entrée, like we would cherry tomatoes or melon ;)

Good night, all!

I'll leave you with this, and dedicate it to our own Tinkerbelle. ;)

You just can't trust those faeries.

That's very true!

LOL! I have some radishes planted too. "French breakfast" is the varietal name. The flavor isn't as sharp as some other varieties, so a person could, theoretically, eat them for breakfast if they were so inclined.

I've just noticed Albert's new signature...

Quote

'The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.'

And, oddly, its reference to the future made me think of the following Leonard Cohen track...

Although, looking at some of Leonard's visions for the future ("I've seen the future, brother. It is murder."), one could be forgiven for suspecting that he may have been talking about nightmares rather than dreams.

(And one of the things I like about the version above is that it's not sanitised the word 'anal' into 'careless' as many of the online versions of the song have done.)

Loreena McKennitt put this to music.  It's one of my favorite songs by her.  :)
