Well, the scream I let out managed to wake up my mother, sister, and brother... Anyhow long story short, we managed to kill the scorpion, but not before it stung Mr. Meow's paw. Fortunately, the scorpion isn't from a deadly species, so Mr. Meow will be fine. Mr. Meow is one brave cat! I hope you rewarded him for saving you from that "giant ass scorpion". 1 6

I hope I will have the same after my other eye is operated on. Which gives me a segue to announce that said operation is now scheduled. Next Tuesday is the day. It got delayed because Aetna took 9 days for pre-approval this time. It only took 4 days for the same pre-approval for the right eye. 😄 Edited August 11, 2022 by raven1 7

Took us forever to figure out how they kept getting in. They were coming down the chimney and even with the flue closed. Little bastards. 2 5

The singers have to sing the words, so the words are missing the correct high, low, mid, rising and falling tones to make the words understandable when spoken. 10 hours ago, Headstall said: Neither are you. 1 hour ago, Albert1434 said: So Drew seems you have a large hole in your house that lets in spiders and scorpions you need to plug that hole! We'll be checking it more closely today. 1 hour ago, spike382 said: Maybe, however spiders and scorpions are a bit tenacious in getting into places they’re not wanted. Oh and hornets & wasps. Hi, Tink! I'm doing better. I haven't talked about it much, but I'm suffering from 'foggy brain' after covid. Concentrating, typing, and remembering the simplest things has been hard. So, I am very happy I was able to write a story for the upcoming anthology. I'm not sure yet it is good enough. My foggy brain is trying to decide . I also wrote two poems for the anthology, so I'm feeling encouraged. 6

You always have a way with words to pass on so many emotions, especially in your poems That covid is a nasty beast. I see a lot of people talking about this foggy brain lasting symptom. Also bouts of tiredness. DI don't want to sound like a mom but maybe try not to put too much pressure on you and just enjoy what you can do day after day, even if it doesn't seem much to you it's something 2 4
Popular Post clochette Posted August 11, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 11, 2022 Good and bad news: Bad news: the +%#$&£% upstairs neighbors are still there... when I stopped by the apartment last week the dog was at the window and oh surprise the corridor leading to my front door was totally blocked by the stroller and an electric scooter... But good news: the other upstairs neighbor, the nice one is moving out so i managed to get my good friend from college to get first dibs on it and today the landlord confirmed she's reserved the apartment for my friend! It's gonna be awesome! We have so much plan to have evenings drinking beers and working on school projects (it'll be a good excuse to just work together and not have other people as we have the same way of working and of seeing things and it's was just wow to find someone it clicked so well with, like I'm rambling and she just translate my rambling into full notes! ). And so now we'll be 2 to kick the nasty neighbors' ass 2 5
