Site Administrator Graeme Posted October 2, 2006 Site Administrator Posted October 2, 2006 Nope. My crush is in both my English and Maths class As for the "signs", he has started to gain a liking in poking me... weird; at least it's extra contact The person below me is glad they have no homework today Day one of term 4 -- I should certainly hope you don't have any homework! I had some homework to do... or, more correctly, help my son to do, but that's just book reading. The person below me has just completed an important job, and is happy it's out of the way.
Marty Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 (edited) The person below me has just completed an important job, and is happy it's out of the way. Not really... But I did start an important job this weekend. A thorough clean up of the house. First one in several years. I will be extremely happy when it's finished. (Just musn't leave it so long the next time ) The person below me loves planning to do things, but often never gets past the planning stage. Edited October 2, 2006 by Marty
Drewbie Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Raise hand Person below me plans fail about every time.
jalaki Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Raise hand Person below me plans fail about every time. That's why I've long since stopped making the plans to begin with Yes. The episode of FamilyGuy where Quagmire told Chris to find a speed limit sign that did not end in 0 or 5 as part of a scavenger hunt, and Chris returned with a sign that read "12". Hey, you didn't say it had to be a real sing *scream* Fine, let's try this again... The person below me knows of a real, actual, factual, existing-in-real-life-that-they-can-walk-up-and-touch speed limit sign that does NOT end in 0 or 5! The Family Guy episode started me on this - because after that episode was on a few days ago, I -DID- see just such a sign, and could barely believe my eyes, haha. It's about ten minutes from my house

It's about ten minutes from my house You didn't say "legal" so, yep, I've seen one! I've seen them in carparks and they were often for 8mph. That was in the UK and in the days before Australia changed to the metric system. I don't believe they were legally enforceable, as they were on private land and speed limits technically only apply to the public road system. It also reminds me of the time someone was booked for doing 50mph in a suburban street but got off on a technicality -- speed limits don't apply to pedestrians and they were on a skateboard (at the bottom of a STEEP hill). Continuing the "planning" theme... The person below me hates it when all their plans get changed at the last minute.
rknapp Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 The relationship between my dad and myself has strained many times over this. He just doesn't seem to understand that I have a job, and school, and a schedule of my own, and changing plans on something at the last minute for no reason and not telling me just isn't acceptible. We had to get up a 4 am on a Sunday so I wouldn't be late for work, because he was an ass like that. The person below me is on their way to class/work and has a very busy night and two days ahead of them. Hey, it wasn't this bad last year?? What gives??

Juss Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Hmm.. I don't think so. Is there like a legal age to buy those things ? The person below me is pissed off because their geography teacher gave them such a low and undeserved mark on their assignment, and top of that was accused of plagiarism
Jayne Cobb Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Low mark, true. Plagiarism, not true. (I didn't "add detailed descriptions"!! What is that, he didn't say to!) ANYWAY The person below me thinks that these chocolate protein shakes are better then they look. (They are strangely delicious.)
