The person below me burnt their breakfast this morning..

Krista

I'm currently on a business trip, so breakfast was made for me today :P

The person below me has had enough of hotel rooms and poor internet connections.

The only time I'm in a hotel room is when I am on vacation, and I'm usually too busy drinking up the sights, sounds, and flavors of the locals to be worried with the internet.

The person below me preceeded a mental break down by screaming "OH MY GOD EUPHAMISMS!!!!" at some point this afternoon.

lol, I can't say that I have today, but I think I've had a few days that would make me scream that.

Anyway, the person below me has an unexplainable injury. (I have a scratch on my stomach that I have no idea of how I got)

Hmmm...I do have this red scar line on my belly....but I remember what got removed when they made that scar so...not quite unexplainable.

The person below me has this book....and they really want to read it but life just seems to smack them every time they try.

Yea, that would be my school book. LOL

The person below me just finished brusing teeth. :D

The A Fall Anthology smacked me! I finally read a few pages of No Nation for Old Men in a barber shop today.

I'm here when I should be writing the chapter I have open in another window! My excuse is that I'm just waiting for the Muse to strike.

The person below me wonders what Echidnas eat for Dinner?

Posted

Umm don't they eat ants and termites?

The person below me is procrastinating again.

I don't know... Graeme, what did you have for dinner? :ranger:

The person below me is procrastinating again.

I was thinking of procrastinating, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

The person below me has finally stoped procrastinating about something.

I've made a decision to stop procastinating... is that close enough?

As for what I had for dinner: Salmon and Fennel soup, followed by a Caeser Salad.

Echidnas normally eat ants and similar insects, but my doctor has advised against it.

The person below me has a "weird" food that they like to eat.

I'm a typical Australian. I like Vegemite. That's weird enough for most people outside of this part of the world :P

How strange that your doctor would advise you eschew your natural diet. 0:)

I love vegimite! I also love peanut butter and pepperoni sandwiches, and hot mustard instead of butter on my morning toast. One of my favorite foods is cocktail olives diced up in ice cream, with a touch of tabasco sauce.

I can't think of anything that I like that is weird, though. (except the Vegimite)

I've never had one of your notorious pie floaters.

The person below me likes one of the foods I mentioned.

That does sound good! Been a while since I had one, but I'll have that for lunch today. :great:

Nope, sorry, I'm far too lazy to tell you myself, but I will give you a link :read:

The person below me has eater a pie floater, and lived to tell the tale.

Can't say as I have, and I don't think I'd be willing to try (neither really a meat pie fan nor at all a pea soup fan)

The person below me wants to come take me to bed so I actually get some sleep for once.

And I mean that literally. SLEEP!

Oh, and before I forget...

The person below me is in love with this new Gia Ferrell song.

Which song?

If it wasn't such a long way to come, I'd do it.

The person below me is happy because they finally get to go home tonight!

Home sweet home. Here I come. I hate business trips.

The person below me likes taking business trips.

For the most part I hated them, but I do recall a week long business trip in Vegas that was quite a bit of fun!

The person below me wishes we had a 5 day weekend, and 2 day work week!

I enjoyed them: It was a way for me to see different places, and get paid for doing so.

Heh, I'd be happy if I could actually have a 2-day weekend some weeks!

The person below me has their weekends mid-week, like I do.

I enjoy seeing different places. It's the travel required and not being able to sleep in my own bed at home that I hate.

As for weekends, nope. I'm a traditionalist :2thumbs:

The person below me has been on airline trips in excess of 20 hours.

They make for LOOOOONNNNGGG days.

Oh yes, a few times. US-Thailand via Korea, US-Australia (over 20 hours after US internal flights were counted). Many other times I've traveled and had the air time plus time at airports while changing planes add up to well over 20 hours even if the flight time didn't.

The person below me has had the combined travel time of being in the air plus time on the ground changing planes add up to over 48 hours (a very looong day).

Been on a few long trips, but nothing worse than 3 hours to airport in Rome, 6 hour delay, 9 hour flight, 2 more hours at JFK, and 3 more driving home. Not quite the full 24 hours, but almost.

The person below me has a fantastic idea for the special Fairy Tales Anthology. P.S. Me toooooooooooooooo :-)

Can't wait to see what you come up with!!! :great::great::great:

I am working on mine too, but I'm going with the "folk tales" category.

The person below me is also doing a "folk tales" based story for the Fairy Tales anthology.

I don't know. I've got some weak ideas, but nothing has jumped out at me yet. I've got a call in with the wicked witch of the north, but she's not answering her phone. All I get is a recording about spotting some hunk wearing speedoes and a pair of ruby slippers. I couldn't make sense of it.

The person below me isn't saying if they are putting an entry into the Fairy Tales Anthology or not.
