Krista Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I'm so jealous.... but no, I'm not waiting for Wednesday. I'll still be stuck in a hotel room on Wednesday night. The person below me thinks that C James (self-labelled lurker with well over 2000 posts) is a postaholic in denial I sure do . It's ok to seek help overcoming your denial CJ. The person below me has guests extending their Holiday stay a lot longer than expected... ahem Krista
AFriendlyFace Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 The person below me has guests extending their Holiday stay a lot longer than expected... ahem No, I don't. I like company though...I guess if it was a lot longer than expected it might not be as fun though. The person below me has no more clean spoons
Site Administrator Graeme Posted November 28, 2006 Site Administrator Posted November 28, 2006 No, I don't. I like company though...I guess if it was a lot longer than expected it might not be as fun though. The person below me has no more clean spoons I'll be generous and say, Yep! Since I'm currently away from home, I have no spoons at all, which means I definitely have no clean ones... The person below me wants to go home.

Caipirinha Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 (edited) Nope! I'm home and want to go away! The person below me hasn't had a vacation in far too long. I want to say yes so bad, but the truth is Italy wasn't that long ago. Even if it has been like 7 weeks since I got back. P.S. I forgot this part until just right now. jalaki Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Nope! I'm home and want to go away! The person below me hasn't had a vacation in far too long. Depends on what counts as a "vacation," but I'll say "not me" since we just had Thanksgiving break and that is a vacation from school after all The person below me wonders how people can find it "cold" when it's 66F (about 19C) out. Actually I think it's about 20 degrees or more warmer than that here in this room *turns on fan*

The person below me knows what he\she wants for Christmas.
C James Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 No, I'm the last-minute shopping guy! The person below me knows what he\she wants for Christmas. I know one thing I want for Christmas: To have all my xmass cards sent before it! LoL! I was astounded to see the ques and frantic 5am activity on "black Friday" (The day after thanksgiving) at the stores. I'd never done it, but was on the road and in town around 5am and was absolutely astounded to see it, and I was amazed that so many people did it. The person below me actually participated in the 5am shopping rush!
kojaky Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 yup, i did but i did shopping at 7:00am. Found good parking in every store I went to, but we did not buy everything we wanted. The person below me is going to a x-mas party.

C James Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I ususally end up going to at least a couple, so yeah, probly so! The person below me had to much to drink at last year's school/office Christmas party! I sure did, though not what you might think. It was a cocktail party so it mi9ght not fit your definition, but it was a holiday party. Someone had set up vodka shots, with tomato juice chasers (also in shot glasses). So, I did one, and then the tomato juice chaser. At that point, I quickly discovered that I had made a slight error. They weren't setting up shots and chasers, they were "do it yourself bloody mary" sets, with the vodka in shot glasses, a bottle of tomato juice on the side, and the Tabasco sauce conveniently in a shot glass for those who wanted a tiny spoonful (why they didn't just leave the stuff in the bottle, I don't know.) Actually, I like Tabasco, so it wasn't all that bad, but it was quite a surprise! (Ouch, HOT!) It was also amusing to see the faces of the people when they realized I'd just done a shot of Tabasco. (for the Non-Americans here, Tabasco is a well-known brand of hot pepper sauce) The person below me has done a shot of Tabasco.
The Reaper Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 The person below me has done a shot of Tabasco. Not yet! Ive done a lot of shots in my time but never tabasco.........ill have to do that tomorrow lol. THE PERSON BELOW ME IS GOING TO TRY SOMETHING AMAZINGLY STUPID THIS WEEKEND.

Krista Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 No. I'm not watching anything in particular. The person below me has something they should talk about but they don't want too. Well actually I did, took me about a year to get it off my chest, but I finally did.. lol. On to the next thing now.. The person below me is still awake, but doesn't have any idea why.. lol.. Krista

Krista I'm still awake, but I have a fair idea of why (it's only 9:20pm here on a Friday night, so I can sleep in tomorrow). The person below me walked in to find a mess in their living room.
Juss Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Actually.. no not really. I walked into the living to find a whole bunch of christmas decorations. The person below me is glad exams are over.

rknapp Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Me? Cook? ROFLMFAOTNTPMP Thanks, I needed that! A good laugh every now and again is good for the heart. The person below me can't decide if they want to save up for the car they want in four or five years, or save up and get the computer and snow boarding gear they want/need now. $8.00 an hour, maybe 20 hours a week, and 20 weeks a year isn't good for saving up for things.

Seems to me the "want/need now" outweighs the "want in four or five years" no? Plus I could much more easily do without a decent car than without a decent computer...so I guess no, I -can- decide The person below me has heard Bishop Allen's version of "Eve of Destruction" and loves it madly. And if the person below me hasn't heard it, they're gonna check it out so they can appropriately respond to this post Edited December 3, 2006 by jalaki
