It's Eat Your Beans Day. I eat beams daily. The meals I eat for my weight loss plan contains three types of beans, all small in size. I'm not as explosive a one might think. 

We'll also have Fried Clans with Chocolate Wafers for a snack later on.

@ReaderPaul and @wildone NDC was short for National Day Calendar.  You can find the at nationaldaycalendar.com. Since they last updated the site, I find it difficult to find the International Events.

Turns out to be a typo. That should have been Clams.

Today is Independence Day for the U.S. of A. Next year will be our 250th birthday. 

On July 4th, 1862, Dodgson told Alice and her two sisters a made-up story of a girl named Alice. The girl had fallen down a rabbit hole. During her time in the rabbit hole, Alice met all kinds of peculiar creatures. Dodgson eventually wrote the story on paper and published it in 1865. This also makes today, Alice In Wonderland Day. 

Todays menu includes Caesar Salads and Barbecued Spareribes.

We'll combine some events today. National Hop-A-Park Day on the first Saturday in July creates an opportunity to explore the parks in your area and learn more about your community.  Since it's also the First Saturday of July, that means it's Play Outside Day.
