If you like odd stories about the paranormal, do yourself a favour and listen to this channel. I've read Peter's first book too... available on K.U. and enjoyed it.

Mean!!  i just meant i loved my donut and wished it would never end.

you're lucky. I rarely eat any kind of sugary things anymore. And I'm still 220 lbs at 5'10". Though, to be fair, I've been asked lately if I've lost weight (I've not, but it has moved around a bit).

a donut is about the only sugary thing i eat.. we all have special diets so we have to be careful. i do enjoy my double donut fridays though. lol

have you ever checked your body fat percentage? That might make you feel better.

I did in the past. I know I'm in the high 20s. Probably around 26%. You can calculate based on measurements. However, the BF% has declined in the last 12 weeks. It was almost 30% based on measurements, but now it's down around 4%. And I've lost 3" off my belly. Which is the real reason why I'm getting asked if I've lost weight. I do need to lose weight. My blood pressure is creeping up, and I'm fifty. Body mass is a big reason blood pressure goes up, and it's a pretty simple correlation. I either lose weight, or I go on medication. To me that's a no-brainer. I won't take meds because I'm too lazy to do what's right. If I can't correct it with exercise and diet, then yes, I'll take meds. But first, I have to try.

You can join us all on our perpetual diets..  Today my grocery cart held, fresh pineapple, watermelon, peaches, broccoli, arugula, red onion, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, a red pepper and apples.

We have one slice of toast in the morning, an egg and 1/2 an apple.  Lunch is usually a salad. Dinner is protein, veggies and a bit of starch. Dessert is some fruit and maybe some crisp or a whole grain biscuit like a digestive.

The most important thing is to use your spreadsheet and record your calories and weight . every day.

I want a donut now. *Sad Face*

The Doc says I need to eat a bit healthier now, and while I'm starting to, damn it's hard.

You can eat A donut. One. Determine what calories you need in a day and once in a while have a donut. Eat right 98% of the time and enjoy a donut. It's okay.  Danny lost 30lbs doing this.  You can do it. Danny used Noom. I liked that program myself. I enjoyed the advice and learning that it offered.

Get some exercise and lift weights a few times a week. You do not need to do hours and hours of exercise.. unless you're nuts like @Wayne Gray. This advice comes from my Husband: eat right most of the time and lift a bit.. increase your reps and weights every few weeks. You do not have to be a body builder.

I'm glad Noom worked for Danny. I tried it. No dice for me. I lost not a single pound over two months of trying. But I think I understand why. While my caloric intake absolutely went down using it, one issue I had is I feel it when I'm in a deficit. Like, feel bad. Shaky, weak, etc. Which means I move around less. I skip workouts when in deficit. So my body is burning less when I eat less.

I really do feel awful when in a caloric deficit. And you gotta be to lose. I'm gonna have to get used to that, though, because I've got about 35 lbs that need to go.

i feel like that if i don't have enough carbs. And Michael does if He doesn't get enough protein. We're all different. And there isn't just one way for everyone.

If you'd like to see the first recorded diet... you can watch my fellow Canadian, Will Tennyson try it. Will is a natural body builder and a bit of a nut. His videos are funny.. he's got nearly 4million followers on YouTube... However, he's not aware that different types of alcohol was /is served in different sized glasses... keep that in mind as you watch this.
