This chapter had me crying, it never fails to astound me that loss or potential loss is usually the catalyst that I eradicates fear and assists us in moving forward. It’s amazing that Gene is able to be so supportive of Nicky.

Beautiful, there is an art to Death , an ending not an obliteration, that is the reason so many older cultures had texts on the Art of Dying. Death in the Tarot , implies an end and an increased sense of self awareness. A complete change of thinking/ perspective from an old way to one which is new. This poem captures all this and celebrates life.

I find this surprisingly beautiful in its honesty. Brings to mind the scene in ‘Evita’, ‘ Goodnight and Thankyou’ , though the scene is far more callous , this piece evokes a similar feeling of an acceptance of a conflicted and deeply subjective truth.

The imagery is magnificent , so vast and overpowering . Every word , every step from darkness to dawn , from disillusion to re-emergence.

Congratulations Australia! The 30 day cooling off period is a good deal too. We have had the right to marry our same sex partners since 2006 , within 8 months our divorce rate escalated exponentially , I should know it’s my speciality. Children in same sex marriages , often having been adopted , have a far worse time dealing with this . Be that as it may , the right to marry , is a fundamental freedom that belongs to all . With greater freedom comes greater responsibility, with that kept in mind there’s absolutely nothing wrong with , ‘ till death do us part ‘ . Again , BRAVO Australia!

A truly chilling glimpse of the darker natures of some of the Fae. So many of them are just not ... nice. Loved the way Briars actions come full circle and lead to his demise at the hand of his victim and ‘friend’ .

A really hard read, very close to many people’s reality. As a divorce attorney I see this more often than I care to . Abused wives , husbands and children are a reality we cannot ignore . Cyril is lucky there was a Stuart and that he still had the requisite strength to run. Painfully and realistically well written.

A powerful story. So I sat with this one for a while , the action , re -action and consequence , so stark and unforgiving. But that’s life .... Marks actions lead to Kevin’s letter which takes on prophetic significance in the end. Skillfully tied up .... and the pieces fall where they should.

Fantastic story, if you don’t communicate or aren’t present in your relationship , you really can’t be surprised when the moment to say your piece or act on your feelings has passed. It may be a story but all of it is so very real . Really turbulent , with a hint of plain sailing for all in the future. Left me feeling surprisingly upbeat !

Lovely story . Everything happens in its time and in its place , growing up , getting wiser , becoming independent and starting again , where it all ended. Left me feeling quite satisfied.

Dear God , that was refreshing! I loved ‘fairy-gangster’ , like gay mafiosa , but diminutive . And then it just kept getting better. An absolutely fabulous tale !
