    Toby was upfront with Liam and answered his questions honestly and also reassured Liam about "expectations". All in all I think the two are much better off having decided to communicate and be truthful instead of worrying about being embarrassed. Look forward to more!

    Politics in 2016 did dominate the national conversation and the World Series was a nice diversion, especially for the Chicago branch of the family. Carson and Gina could be additional members of the squad, but I don't see them going up on the picture wall just yet... As a Cards fan it did pain me to see the Cubs in the World Series, but as a baseball fan I could appreciate the fact that it was 'bout time! The poor Dodgers though, all the talent in the world and to get beaten in the divisional playoffs in '16 and then to lose the World Series to a very worthy Houston team in '17 made me feel really sorry for their fans. Baseball reflects life; it takes skill, patience, persistence and a bit of luck. It seems that CJ gets that...

    So Toby checks all Liam's boxes...maybe Toby is the tiger and Liam really is the lucky one!

    Liam's dad was spot on about Liam needing to talk to Toby.... LIam is much more uptight about his sexuality than Toby and is still processing what that all means. He may be a late bloomer, but I think he maybe a surprise tiger.

    CJ enjoyed a quiet visit to Fire Island, I hope he and Owen get to return the next summer when it's busy. The seaplane ride out had to be the highlight.

    Hopefully Liam knows Toby well enough to have a basis for judging that Toby isn't just using him to get off...having said that, perhaps he knows that at their age getting off isn't a bad thing.

    Cia's advice is sound in my opinion. Although I am almost thirty years older than Puppilull, her advice to be open to the possibility and to be unafraid to take a chance is also spot on. Nothing ventured, nothing gained is still true. So don't be closed mouth about your own sexuality and see how he responds to the news that you are gay. You could even preface your remarks by stating to him in private, "I don't want you to be embarrassed by finding out in a surprising or shocking situation, but I'm gay and I hope that doesn't prevent us from being friends." Then see how he reacts. Hiding who you are is never a good recipe for building a relationship, whether its just friendship or something more.

    Speaking of his public life, I think his little speech at the political gathering encapsulated his views perfectly on why he was supporting HRC. As a moderate democrat who believes in a robust defense, the B-backers seemed to have some blinders on as to how dangerous the world really is and while the crowd in South Beach probably wasn't the place to emphasize her comparatively pro-defense stance, it will be interesting to see if CJ gets a chance to bring that aspect up to a perhaps more conservative crowd later in the campaign.....

    I have on occasion but not always. There are several gay versions of songs on youtube which can be entertaining.

    CJ's credentials as a centrist are unequivocal. It's sad that the extremists of both parties have fueled the present polarization we have today... CJ is a bit of a flirt but knows the limits and it's part of his fun personality. Thanks for sharing.
