The story of Eddie Hamilton and Matty Jordan continues. Our boys have graduated from high school and are preparing for college--at different schools. We start with a graduation trip to London, continue through their work at Dad's church and then the dreaded separation.

Things start off quite smoothly and the arrangement works great for their first semester. It's during the second semester when a worldwide event changes Eddie and Matty's lives forever. Will the boys survive? Will there be a "happily ever after" in spite of the turn of events?

This started as a story for the Grid Game and has gotten bigger.

Simon is a newly turned vampire, he's made his home in a lovely cave on a mountain.

My prompt was - A newly-made vampire (verb) deep forest on a mountain no one dares enter (conjunction/pairing word) the cat won't move.

Jimbo is serving his final year as a counselor at Camp Falls. He has just graduated from high school and will enter University in the fall. Everything is going smoothly until a troop arrives without a Scout Master. Jimbo is assigned to the role and meets Mason, a scout having his first experience at Camp Falls. Although he came from a poor background, with the assistance of a wealthy uncle, Johnnie was able to complete his education and university studies to become a doctor, only to be falsely accused of housebreaking and larceny, and he is sentenced to transportation to the Swan Colony in Australia.
