Life is full of twists and turns, both expected and unexpected, wondrous and excruciating. These teenagers will travel through time and mythological books to accomplish their goal and along the way they will find some dark secrets about that king and themselves.

A story about friendship between two teenagers that deepens into more throughout the years.

Sean is a troubled young man. Some of the things he does might be considered to be not all that well thought out. At times all his family and friends, particularly his older friend, Johnny (the narrator of these fragments of Sean's life), can do is to be there for him, and help him to pick up the pieces when things go wrong. Even when, sometimes, Sean himself doesn't even seem to want to pick up the pieces.

This is the sequel to the much loved (or much hated) story of For the Heart of Phillip. This tells what happened to the two men left in the wake of the last tale.
