When my wife died, I decided to move back to Indiana, to spend more time with my grandson. Noticing that Cliff seemed despondent, I decided that a fall hike in Clifty Falls State Park was just what he needed. This boy’s life is pervaded with love, lessons, hardships, deaths, and special moments. The road is not pleasant.

It is a perilous journey that deals with drug use, repentance, prostitution, pain, forgiveness, and hopefully redemption.
