Fresh out of college, city guy Charlie is happy to get his first job as a teacher in a small nearby town. As he tries to adapt to his new life in the countryside, he meets a young farmer Tom, who is more than happy to help him.

This series uses the Camp Refuge setting. If you want the best reading experience, then read Guarded, Camp Refuge, A Silent Song, and Broken. They are shorts, though. So if you're feeling impatient, then just dive in.

I will update this sporadically, and each chapter will be stand-alone (mostly - there may be recurring characters down the line).

I really wanted to create something that showed off the effect the camp has on regular folks just coming to camp. Little snapshots of lives lived and changed thanks to Greg's dream.

Gavin has everything...almost. His college loans are paid off, he has a great job, and a house he loves even if it's empty when he comes home. After the death of his parents Patrick is lonely and his life unfulfilled, in spite of being rich and able to indulge in his passion for creating unique art in his card shop in London. He longs for friends and for a romantic relationship, especially while creating Valentine cards. The chance encounter with a handsome Dane and his young son pitches the shy innocent cardmaker headlong into love and changes everything.

On the run from slavers, Pip is separated from his best friend, Tilbei, and finds himself on a strange planet, with even stranger aliens. His handsome rescuer is different from Pip. The odd man's human, after all.

Brett Davenport and César Abelló convince their Georgetown neighbors to combine their 4^th of July celebrations into a block party. With their segment of Prospect Street closed off, children play on the street and adults cross from one house to another undisturbed by traffic. CJ and Owen ensure Carson Sawyer, part of the group being assembled to propel CJ to public office, meets one of the block’s wealthy and connected residents. Liebe has a flashback to the park shooting and a friend from Mexico City visits.
