The two explore how to make a life the way that they want, irrespective of the weight of their family experiences.

The story takes place in Cheshire, UK. The main setting, Netherwich, is my invention based on elements of Crewe and Nantwich. The language uses some regional idiom.

According to Egyptian mythology, Seth is the God of Chaos. Seth, the main character of this story, is appropriately named because his life becomes a whirlwind of chaos. He is sixteen years old and lives at home with his mother and twin sister. He is gay. However, he tries to keep it a secret from family and friends. His life begins a downward spiral when his sister's boyfriend discovers his secret. Then, he meets a new boy in school who has a troubled past. Will Seth be able to control the chaos erupting around him?

This story is about Grant A Wellstead, his five closest friends, after the death of his parents and sister in a horrific car accident.

At a result of the accident, Grant becomes very wealthy, when the courts award compensation for the loss of his family and from the injuries he received from the same accident. His only living relatives, his Scottish grandparents, move to Australia to care for their grandson, as he recovers from his injuries.
