Celebrating the 4th of July, I have posted the first of a four story set featuring Asher Romanski from the series Sanitaria Springs. Asher is a poor kid who has resigned himself to taking his lumps and keeping out of harm's way. But then an event makes him dare to dream.

CJ has spent his first few months in Washington, D.C. living with his father and surrounded by a group of gay men who have become his mentors.

As he begins his sophomore year in high school at School Without Walls, the traumatic events at the end of summer linger. And over the next few months, he begins to explore his new life with visits to Chicago, Miami, and New York City.

When you’re a teenager it’s easy to be led astray. What’s hard is getting out of a bad situation.

Mature or distressing themes and strong language. This story deals with issues that are, unfortunately, true to life for some teens.

A Lot of things can happen over the summer. Upon returning to school Kyle finds he is no longer one of the most popular kids in school and his best friend has now become his worst enemy. Now Kyle dances along the lines of a rebellious trouble maker and a victim of hate.

Jett Huntsman has his business straight, which is to scare schmucks into paying back what’s due. And yeah, he’s making shit tons of money while at it. Mostly because he’s good at it. Not that he brags.

What he’s not good at, though, is how to deal with seeing a crying baby left in front of his house with the self-explanatory message: “Assume responsibility, asshole!”

Jett has no time to think things through. He has schmucks to shake for money. So his kid, if that’s his kid, will have to come with him.

Quinn doesn't know how to approach the younger Cameron, and goes the route that's expected of him... being a dick. His sexual tension grows, and he eventually snaps.

Thirty-year-old Greg Beaumont is still fleeing the ruin of his life fifteen years ago. Now he's sharing a new home with his best friend Nate Sawyer, pouring himself into his work, and avoiding romantic entanglements while claiming he's just taking his time. But when he meets Kyle Wakeham, a fifteen-year-old neighborhood boy, he'll not only face the wreckage of his past but he'll also discover he's not defined by the torments and tragedies of history.
