A short novel in ten chapters.

As Ravello slumbers under the grey skies of winter, Gianni and Angelo try to come to terms with looking after their new foster son Sami. Gianni is trying his best, but Sami seems more attached to two local boys who took care of him in the summer.

Meanwhile, teenager Marco’s carefully controlled home life unravels when his father uncovers a truth he has been trying desperately to conceal.

Wanted criminal Hong Shen finally meets his end after being stabbed in the back by a comrade. As he makes his final resting place under a dead plum tree, he submits to death.

Instead, he receives two choices: die, or be given a second chance.

To take the second chance means he must complete a trial in the past in order to return to the present. But what he doesn't know is that the trial isn't only difficult for him, but even more difficult for the person he must be to fulfill it.

A Charlie Boone tale for July 4^th. Charlie Boone and his friends are vacationing on the dark planet Engris when they meet up with an alien with a story to tell. Before they know it they are drawn into another adventure, this time with the prize being Engris itself!

Five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret never to be told.

I am sure many of you, like me, learned this children's nursery rhyme about magpies. According to an old superstition, the number of magpies seen predicts whether you will have good or bad luck. Something I came across subsequently, was the existence of many variations on this rhyme, some more sinister than the children’s version.

One of those is incorporated into this short story about boyhood abuse.

A small fishing village on the North West corner of the US lies a fishing boat, the Scuffy. It lies at the wharf across from a friendly tavern, called The Wharf, which is a hangout for the captains of the fishing boats. One boat is different as it is manned by a very young crew.

Kastan Miran (Duke Silver) is the second prince in the Akasha Imperial Family. The Empress is afraid of his growing power. When she tries to murder him, The Emperor asks Kastan to marry a member of the Kamran Family. Kastan is to keep Kamran in check and in turn their vast wealth protects Kastan from the Empress's jealousy.

Leon and Logan fall in love on a six-month trip across Europe. When tragedy strikes, they are separated by life's decisions and must make their way back to each other.

Gabriel is in the hospital and is gravely ill. After going unconscious as a result of the sickness he awakes to a surreal environment and takes an unexpected journey.
