This is the continuing story of Zac and his good sailing mate Jordan, as they go through a very challenging and stressful event, that puts Jordan and his skipper - Carter in real life-threatening danger.

“What about you Zackary? Do you have any plans to keep you busy during the holidays?” Mum asked me. I so hated that name, but it is the name I was given at birth, and my middle name was just as bad, and I refused to use it, and regularly reminded my parents and brother to never speak that name.

As I considered the question, I wondered if the casual summer job that I have for the past few years was still available, which I had really enjoyed, and began just two days after Boxing Day. “I don’t know, nothing until after Christmas, and after that I am hoping that I will have my usual old job,” I replied.

In his 15 years of life Cy Walker has seen it all. From being on his own to working his way up the ladder of his Chicago Gang...there's nothing he can't do. However when he's arrested during a police raid, and fostered by a wealthy family he finds his greatest challenge has just begun. (Note: even though this is book 3, no prior knowledge is required)

This series uses the Camp Refuge setting. If you want the best reading experience, then read Guarded, Camp Refuge, A Silent Song, and Broken. They are shorts, though. So if you're feeling impatient, then just dive in.

I will update this sporadically, and each chapter will be stand-alone (mostly - there may be recurring characters down the line).

I really wanted to create something that showed off the effect the camp has on regular folks just coming to camp. Little snapshots of lives lived and changed thanks to Greg's dream.
