These are the original, annual, New Year's letters that I sent to my friends from 1993 to 2001. That was from two years after I moved into the building to a year-and-a-half after I left.

As mentioned, the letters were the basis for the book, and they often overlap the same material. But they cover more time and more characters, and are sometimes funnier because they're more compressed and somewhat more rude.

Thomas was going on an old Earth styled space cruise, to see his foster brother marry his true love. Unfortunately, it means seeing Eric, the second grooms brother.

Eric wanted Thomas but the man just kept ignoring him. What did he have to do to get the man to notice him???

They had been pulled apart, their mother slowly falling into her mind, when he had been six. But now their mother had died just a month before and her will had asked for them to come together at least one last time to get what she has left behind for them.

They thought they would walk away with a piece of liquidated estate and money for their own lives.

They hadn't expected to find themselves coming back together as siblings.

A 2017 Christmas Story.

How can we be sure we're making the right choice in who we love? What do we do with the doubts we feel? This is what Paul is facing, and suddenly, it all becomes too much. Walking away seems the right path to take, but, he doesn't want to hurt Chris... he really doesn't....
